I am really disgusted at what I've just read about you guys being accused of cheating!

Is there a way you can get the biscuit voucher through the post? I won a pack of biscuits this morning and you have to install that stupid coupon printer on your computer. The last time I did that it caused problems and I had to uninstall it.

if not you have a case
if you have done then there is nothing you can do

ginjim, I know for a fact that I haven't entered more than the allowed 5 a day. I don't know if McVities do have records or not tbh. According to them they have 'thoroughly' checked them but if that were true then they would find that I did not exceed my daily limit - so I can only conclude that they are talking carp.

They are saying that I have changed contact details to gain extra entries. I have only entered for me and OH the 5 or 5 + bonus entries.

McVities are unable to tell you what you are supposed to have changed but say that according to handling house you have definately been cheating.

How is it even possible to change contact details when you have to send in proof of your name and address?

If I don't hear back from them tomorrow with an explanation , I will contact the ISP.

dooby, annie1 and anyone else who is having problems, I hope you get it sorted out quickly and get an apology. That must have been horrible receiving an email like that It's more likely that theres a software problem their end. This all seems such a shame. The last McVities comp "Bonkers" was so much fun. I was lucky enough to win our 3 main prizes early on and had no problems. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you all

Oh no that is awful. It seems as mcvities are being worse now at sending out products than they were at the beginning of the competition.

I have stopped playing since my friends got the email. I think it is disgusting what they are doing. I remember reading that quite a few people allegedly sent in the wrong wrappers or none at all, that they have claimed more prizes than permitted and now they are making up this crap. They have ruined all the fun of this comp!

Sorry to hear about the problems some of you are having getting your prizes. It's horrible when you get one of their emails. I had 2 earlier on in the comp, both about one prize claim, accusing me of a) not sending the right wrapper and b) exceeding the number of wins allowed. Neither of these were true.
When I phoned to query the emails, I got a message back the next day to say the prize would be sent out. And it duly arrived.
I think it's either something wrong with their system (sending emails to the wrong people) OR they are doing it randomly and deliberately, to try to catch any 'cheaters' out there OR perhaps it's someone in the handling house, who wants to keep the prize for themselves?
I think, as you have queried it, you will get your prizes - but let us know and good luck! (I have gone right off this comp now too!)
