Sorry if this has already been covered and I know its almost the end of the comp but has anyone had any problems with getting there free pack of biscuits?

I went tesco yesterday with my voucher and they made a big deal about it first of all saying they couldnt accept it then when manager came said that so many people had been photocopying the vouchers and they are not getting money back off Mcvities. Eventually she taken my voucher away and came back and said its ok I could have the biscuits.
Apparently ( at this store) they have a list of names of people who they know photocopy the vouchers and the CSadvisor said that alll the staff know of one girl by face she must do it all the time.
Hope this doesnt put Mcvities off doing comps like this in the future.

Thank you for your recent prize claim for the Dunk or Not promotion. Unfortunately we cannot honour your prize for the following reason:

You have exceeded the maximum number of daily entries allowed by changing your contact details across multiple entry attempts.

There are terms and conditions of entry for the promotion and these do clearly state that any entrant attempting to exceed their daily entrance allowance either manually or by using their computer to enable multiple entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void. Any attempts made by an entrant to change their contact details in order to exceed more than the allowable 5 entries per person per day will result in disqualification.

I have played my five times a day and thats it. I can't even change my details by accident as I use 1Password ( a bit like roboform) so it fills it in for me.

I have no idea why they have accused me of cheating when I haven't. If they can check their records they will see that my entries match 100%. I'm not happy with being called a cheat.

I know! I can't believe it. I'm really upset about it, they've really upset me. I'm swaying from being furious to welling up. I just don't know how they can send me an email like that when I haven't done anything I shouldn't have done. I verge on being OCD about terms and conditions and I know that McVities are five a day and I use a five bar gate and an autofill. I have no idea why they think I have cheated.

I'm waiting on a phonecall back from the lady that is the go between. There's nothing else I can do for now but if they don't gve me a full written apology and withdraw their accusation i'm going to see about contacting the fella that overseas competitions.

dooby sorry your having such trouble, i had heard they had disqualified people form jaffa wins with the same reasoning, and assumed as those people havent posted to say so that they were changing details to get more daily entries. i know netering on behalf of family/friends is acceptable as they clarified on fb at start of comp.


thatsfabulous, yes, my local tescos refuses them point blank if they are printed, and sometimes argues even when they ahve been mailed and i have the rest of the letter as proof that ive not copied it or anything. i emailed coupoinnet about it, and they assured me all major stores are supposed to take them and they would send an education pack to my local tescos reminding them so. hasnt made any difference so far.......

Thanks Purple, I did have a thought if they'd suddenly decided it was against the rules to have more than one person from the same address entering so that clears that up. There's only two of us anyway and he can't win a thing

I have no idea why they think I have changed my details then, I have used the same everything all the way through, according to their email, they say they have made thorough checks but even a simple check would show i've only had my five a day (except bonus entries for multipacks). I just know 100% that I can't have gone wrong on this because of using 1password to fill in my details. It just simply can't be changed.

Am I the only one that has been accused of cheating that hasn't actually cheated then?

I'm very sorry to hear this dooby and I hope you get it sorted out. When did you get the e mail - was it after you sent off the claim?

I don't really understand what they can be getting at because I've tried to enter more than 5 times in a day - by accident as I don't really keep track. It just tells me I've exceeded my entries for the day so I just log out and wait for the next day. I'm sure lots of people do this.

RE coupon acceptance - I've had 5 and they've all been scrutinised very carefully. In Tescos they told me they always have to call the supervisor over. They've been ok but it's embarrasing. Wish they sent proper ones in the post.
