Mobile speed camera direction question please

I had a similar worry a couple of days ago

In my case the van was on the other side of the road the backend with camera inside facing the oncoming traffic.

I think I was driving at the correct speed of 30 but not 100% sure. it could have been 35.

My question is wether or not those cameras catch motorists going in both directions or only those coming towards them on their side of the road.

Having alraeady 6 points on my licence for something I think was very unfair I would be devastated if I have to gain another 3

If I had 6 points on my licence I would be 100% certain of my speed.;)

A mobile camera registers your speed within 0.3s and at a range of upto 1km, and seeing as you didn't spot it or the van until you were 10 foot away, You've been had (provided it was a mobile camera of course, here's hoping ).

Although I'm suprised you didn't run over it [STRIKE]Myopic[/STRIKE] Dorsetjohn.
