The snowball calculator currently shows Feb 2011  and for me that is just not good enough, so I have 2 options.
    Option 1
    Balance £6100
Balance transfer £5000, applied today haven't been declined but said they will contact me in 10 days :o (Anyone had any experience of what this means)
The rest would be cleared in overpayments and my normal payment at the end if August

    Option 2
    £6100 Balance
    £ 240- Refund from Eon
    £ 70- Quidco
£ 200- Cash left at end of August
    £1000- August Payment
    £1200- Sept Payment
    £1200- Oct Payment
    £1200- Nov Payment
    £1000- Dec Payment
    £0.00

So I can do it with a bit of hard work and I havent added any interest however either way I am determind to be clear of this card by the end of December. I am also going to try for under £30k at the end of December even if it is only by 1p
Now I can go and start ebaying or I can go and snowball CC snowball here I come :rotfl:

I think, although can't be sure, when they see you will hear in ten days - that means no thank you :(

So option two seems the way to go................plus if you ebay/amazon etc you might get it gone by Nov.................for anyone else that would be impossible but not for you energy bunny!

I was feeling a little hopeful last time applied they just said NO plus I do have my sons Uni fund sitting in an ISA with them which is a nice tidy sum been saving for nearly 15 years.
Oh well hard work and determination will get us there, would have been nice to have a rest from the interest. I'll not lose sleep over it been there done that and got the t-shirt.
A very productive day for me got a refund on gas & electric £240 plus reduced dd by £13 per month. Also found out my mortgage is £616 less than I thought not much in the grand scheme of things but that means my spreadsheet is calculating slightly wrong but im not going to change it as if this happens every 6 months it may be the motivation I need 2016 is the year I plan to be completely debt free mortgage as well.
DH has just mentioned we should have a cheap holiday next year as he likes the idea of paying more off the mortgage may have to check hes not had a bang to the head

Had a little blip yesterday got holiday fever and started planning next years holiday thought the £250 deposit was a bargain got all the details sold it to DH it was so easy. I decided I would sleep on it and thankfully I decided the £2500 it was going to cost will be better put against the debt :money:

Started my new job today but im not sure im liked much as I know the directors and management from previous employment and the people in the office dont know what to make of me. Payday will be 25th so I think I will start my payday countdown again in my signature. So looking forward to next month as was about £500 down on overpayments this month maybe able to still pay another £300 off if I am really strict.
Tesco vouchers arrived today £20.50 so I have added them to my others ready to change into Goldsmith and Thornton vouchers for xmas presents :T

£10k off already since January is amazing! Well done! Also, how on earth did you lose over 7lbs in just over 2 weeks?

The diet I am following is the Dukan diet, high protein it is becoming very popular in the uk, my friend has lost an amazing lb in four weeks and she looks fantastic. I managed to put a little back on whilst away but after 2 days back it has now settled and I only put 1lb on which is amazing as I ate everything in sight the desserts were to die for.
I called Lloyds today about charges on my credit card and it looks like they are going to refund the remainder of them, I work out it should be about £700ish but that was in January so maybe a bit more I guess I will just have to wait and keep checking online. That will make up for the overpayments I didnt make this month however doing very well this week 2NSD so far were heading sub 39k and after month end it could be closer to sub 37k. When I see the numbers dropping my incentive to get below £30k by christmas comes flooding back

Woohooooooooo Just logged onto Lloyds and they have refunded £759.84 and refund from eon and a little shuffle and I have a new outstanding amount of £38795 so now well under the £40k and my Lloyds card is down to £5200. If only I could get the 0% on the 5k I could move swiftly onto the next card.It also means I have cleared £11113.60 so far this year this is making the £30k more realistic now, Could I be debt free by the end of 2011 ? Now that would be a challenge Hmmmmm off for breakie and a ponder........

WOW that's amazing work! What were the charges you asked to be refunded from Lloyds? Were these in respect of the unfair charges on OD's etc?
