NCP, Roxburghe and Graham White Solicitors

I recieved an NCP ticket at Warrington Central Station and have since got letters from Roxburghe and Graham White, Solicitors. I have found the posts on this site helpful and am trying to keep my nerve and ignore this correspondance.
Due to information I have read on these forums I looked up Warrington Central Station Car park on the internet and under the the Ticket buying and collection tab it says Penalty Fares do not apply when travelling from Warrington Central station. I presume this means the NCP fine is not valid. What do others think?
I think I should have started this as a new thread but am a new forum member and can't for the life of me work out how to do this - any pointers would be welcome!
Thanks very much0 -
"Penalty Fares" would apply to the ticket purchased to travel on the train.
Carry on holding your nerve, its quite easy to do.

Here's the situation:
NCP give out unenforceable invoices, masquerading as breach of railway byelaw tickets.
This is FRAUD..
Pure and simple.
These fake tickets are bundled in with the rest of their private ticket scam and victims are bundles in with the same threatening junkmail letterchain.
Pretty staggering how they get away with it!

how did it go? did you get taken to court. Has anyone been taken to court by them? So many posts say they will go away but you never get anything back saying they did.0

I am sure that had they not gone away the posters would have come back here pretty sharpish. The lack of responses leads me to assume all is well. Some do come back to say all is well but many just forget, after the usual 6months its all too easy.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Wow, I didn't realise this thread was still going...
The long and short of it is... I've ignored all correspondence from Graham White Solicitors or anything with the name of Michael Sobell on it and nothing has happend to me yet!
The funny thing is, I received another PCN dated 01 June from these scammers but I sold my car 4 weeks previous to this! Totally ignored this!
Keep ignoring them, they will eventually go away!0 -

They do go away, that's what all the threads are about on here which involve PPCs - you don't need the OP of each thread to come back and say so, months later. In fact, occasionally they do pop back and post that they are no longer receiving letters, I have seen it on several threads.
Most regulars on this board have had parking charge notices. I have and I ignored the letters - and OF COURSE they gave up. PPCs generally do not 'do' court, they just 'do' threatograms to scare you into paying. Don't fall for it, those sad victims who pay private parking charge notices have been 'had' and are either lacking a PC, misinformed, naive or stupid (sorry but it's true, it only takes a Google to find out about this scam!).
It is true, this industry IS a scam, you CAN safely ignore the scary letters. Here is our thread showing those scary letters in all their technicolour glory:

Look for 'your' letters in our examples and you can see what happens next. More letters, then nowt.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
