for another month. No extension to funds though.
Another month for those who can't afford it to trade in their death traps for cars that will be reposessed within a year and then try and sue everyone and anyone because its not their fault.
Good news.....

It sounds like you have too much money! All I want is a cheap runabout for convenience instead of waiting at cold, draughty and often smelly bus stops
But thanks to the Scrappage scheme they are as rare as hen's teeth.
Also, as long as they have a current MOT, they can't be that bad. Some older vehicles can be just as reliable as newer ones. For instance, I don't think I'll be driving any new Toyota any time soon. Or at least, until they sort out the accelerator pedal problem out.Only Look Down On People...To Offer Them A Hand UP:)0 -
Most cars bought on the scrappage scheme seem to be 107's, Aygo's, i10's, etc. From what I hear anyway. The low budget runabout used car market in 8 years time is going to be rife with these.0

Or a lot sooner when many of the buyers cannot fund the finance agreement on them.0 -
Thank god for when it does end so i can look for a bargain new car.0

The Crapage Scheme is a total rip off. If your buying a new car without a banger to trade in your getting robbed blind. Guess I'll have to wait yet ANOTHER month...0

You can still get a good deal while the scrappage scheme's on. I got a really good deal on a brand new Fiesta Titanium 5 door with metallic paint and bluetooth usb.
List price was just over 15k and I got it for just under 12k, along with a very good p/x of 6k for my 08 Fiesta Style.0 -
