How would you know if someone is a noble prize winner unless they introduced themselves as one? (In which case I would think what a tool!!) I wouldn't know one apart from Obama if I fell over one in the Noble Prize shopIf At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00

Back to your issue, once the call has been listened to, so long as the advisor did say £20 then I can't see no reason why they wont credit this back to you.
In the mean time, have you asked them to put your bill into dispute so they don't claim the direct debit?Work like you don't need money,Love like you've never been hurt,And dance like no one's watchingSave the cheerleader, save the world!0 -

I'm fairly confident that they will listen to the call and realise there is a mistake and they'll alter the bill for me. Luckily I don't pay by direct debit otherwise I probably wouldn't have looked at the bill, I only looked because I logged on to pay by card as usual. If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00 -
They may be reasonable in comparison with other providers but O2 were phoning me two to three times a day (while at work and in the evening) trying to get me to upgrade and commit to a new contract. Was getting very annoyed and frustrated with them (all seemed to be south african - has the call centre been moved out there?) but after about 2 weeks of rejections they got the message and haven't heard from them since
I would love O2 to phone me even once a day, as I get no signal either at home (company mobile phone). But that is another problem altogether. (see getsatisfaction.com/o2 "Are O2 going to launch...").:(0 -
i have been with O2 for years, they never call me (sniff)... but when it comes to renewal i shop around and they have consistently come up with an unbeatable deal, so hopefully they will do the same again in april, they always seem very friendly and helpful...0

We'll I've just spoken to O2 as I hadn't heard anything from them and a manager was called and they found the original call and agreed it was their mistake so they are crediting my account for £200 which is the cost of the phone.
So thanks O2 and it's nice to know that if mistakes happen then there are companies that accept them without trying to get out of itIf At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.00
