Be careful if getting an upgrade from O2

  • If so then I pity you, and having seen your previous posts I can understand why you get so much stick from other forum members.

It does not matter whether O2 or some people, As long as we treat everyone is a human being, give respect and take respect there won't be any problem in the world. I think i could have been a scientist like him to get stick from everyone.
  • I bought an iPhone from an O2 store in December, and returned it a few days later when I discovered that the Tesco offer was a better one. Didn't seem to be a problem and the payment I'd made for the phone was quickly refunded. A few weeks later however, I was rather surprised to receive a bill through the post for just over £500.

A quick call to customer service resolved it though, and they explained that for some reason they'd tried to charge me for the full cost of the contract (even though I cancelled within the cooling off period). They also advised me to cancel the Direct Debit, just in case... So in my experience, they do make mistakes every now and then, but seem good at resolving them.

In fact, in their rush to credit me back the £500 to cancel the previous bill, they forgot to take into account the change in VAT, and so now owe *me* money! I'll probably let them off that though and not collect the credit - especially as I've cancelled the Direct Debit...

Then he needs to check his credit file if he is so credit worthy. The credit application system doesn't differentiate between race/colour/creed. The computer sends an application through to Equifax and then decides on the level of acceptance depending on the information it gets back.

The rest of that article is a pile of tosh, I love the line "The young man was white, but I do not think he was racist in the least."

He goes on to say how many loans and credit cards he has and the fact he isn't on the electoral roll, that in enough is going to come up with a deposit because they can't verify him at that address. I find it incredulous to believe a person capable of obtaining a Nobel prize doesn't have the smarts to know that computers aren't racist.

Credit application software is written by some people only not by itself. It should treat everyone same as long as it has been written in that way.

Anyway his case it was by O2 manager decision only not by computer decision. Always they have a option in that application to override any decision you know that one brother.

If we don't know how to give respect to one of the Nobel prize winner i'm really pitty for you.

if he had won OSCAR then we would have known. Don't think you can get Nobel prize in shops. Go and search goggle to find out about Nobel prize. He is not like you and me, they are the gifted people to help our society. To improve our life style they work hard.

O2 will have to apologies for that.

So if I came to you in the street and asked for £100, and told you "Trust me, I'm a Noble Prize Winner", you would have emptied your bank account for me?

    Cracking.

Oscar winners are (by the very nature of their job) in the public eye, therefore more recognisable than a scientist.

Look, firstly having read your link in more depth (rather than your extract), I'm man enough to admit that that maybe i got it wrong in my previous post.

However why use the race card? why could it not have been a genuine mistake? Mistakes happen.

Secondly, please do not accuse me of lieing, you don't know me. Finally you seem to be suggesting that I "always think about Brits"

Take that chip off your shoulder. Again you do not know me. I am not white, however I despise people playing the race card as it make life difficult for everyone else who just wants to get on with life.

Really Sorry if i hurt you, there are few people around here, if you look at my previous thread you can see them, talked to me very rude way. Did not give any respect as a human being. One guy was really rude to me came with different username to attack me. i also get a habit of talking like them now only against those rude people.

Mate, chill and man up. I saw what happened on your last thread and they did take it to an all time low. Most of it wasn't warranted and quite unfair.

Don't talk like a baby. He is asking for same rights as others.

If i'm a O2 director/manager and if you are a Noble prize winner, i would give very well respect first. If there is any problem with that application system i would apologies first then i would be happy for pay from my pocket. Nowadays people are very selfish.

O2 will tell the truth how it happened.

I know you will be searching shops to get Noble prize, dont hurry
