Of course there's a possibility it's a photoshop and given the headline on the slide doesn't seem to make a lot of sense that seems quite likely.
Well, Microsoft are always saying what great computers their hardware partners make. You'd just think they would use one of them.0 -

But if he uses a Dell then it upsets HP etc. If he uses an Apple it everybody is upset so it's more even handed! It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -
Impartiality has nothing to do with it

Macs are overpriced style over substance, generally used by media types/ponces.0

Well, I'm glad that's settled.
I wish you'd spoken up 4 pages ago. You could have saved us a great deal of debate.0 -
I'm more perturbed by the spelling error in the presentation title - graduated instead of graduates. That's just sloppy.poppy100 -
The macbook was left on the lectern by the previous speaker, it wasn't being used by Ballmer. He is no fan of macbooks.
I wouldn't be the first time though. Here's a family enjoying their MacBook Pro:
Here's the original photo:
Here's Microsoft showing off Vista to a group of bloggers in Belgium:
Just to mix things up a bit, here's a couple of kids enjoying a PS3:
And of course, their "I'm a PC" ads were made with the help of a certain fruity computer company's products.
Not that there's anything inherently wrong with Microsoft using Macs. But they're always telling the rest of us we shouldn't.I'm more perturbed by the spelling error in the presentation title - graduated instead of graduates. That's just sloppy.
I guess if there's no squiggly red line under it, it's not a spelling error.0 -
That whole debate about the Dell vs. Macbook was ultimately pointless. The vast majority of people (including everyone I know who owns a macbook) could easily find a Windows laptop that is capable of doing all they need it to for a lot less than the price of the macbook - even in overpriced PC world!
Fact is, a LOT of people solely buy a Macbook because its shiny looking and has the Apple logo on the back. Dell could make a laptop with the exact same specification and look and sell it for £100 less and people would still go for the Macbook - because of the logo.0
