...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Wow Sal, busy you! How was you run?
I'm a bit better today, out of bed at least.
Having green tea and beef hula hoops, that's good for the cold, right?

I was just thinking of lunch when Mum rang to say did I fancy the carvery. Er yes please!
I'm tired today - had 2 frantic days and feel the need for some relaxing. Silly really cos I'm not exactly busy most of the time.0 -

Run was good and I was so engrossed in conversation with runchum that it went really quickly. 4 miles just over 40 mins and it felt easy today so thats a great improvement for me squizz. Beef hula hoops haven't had them for years.
Am determined not to spend any money today so that will be 3/3 for this month so far
Need to do 20 at least this month. Question for those that do NSD do you count days when you do the weekly shop as a NSD as its a budgeted amount or not? I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
Finally Debt Free...0 -

Gemmzie, I find the same thing, I can eat really healthy small portions and put weight on, or eat loads of chocolate and lose weight. (not all the time obviously, otherwise there'd be no problem other than that I was dead cos I'd be in heaven). My health trainer last year said not to weigh yourself too often otherwise you get odd results which depress you. She said once a month is best. Although that didn't work for me cos I ended up spending three weeks thinking 'I can have a treat, I'm not weighing in for ages' then one week thinking 'oh crap, need to not eat to make up for the last three weeks'. I tend to just do what Linda says and go on clothes. The scales say I'm about the same weight I was, but I've dropped a size or two.
I need recipes for sausages, I made a bit of a mistake on the tesco order and have a few too many to eat... think I'll be eating them every day for a month!Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
Linda, I love cherries, I could eat several punnets every day!
Waiting for my graze box cos there's chilli rice crackers in it...Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
