Hellooooo
Didn`t find my decree absolute:( so had to cancel appt with the registrar this morning. Going next month instead and they said it was fine;).
Could get another from court but have txt ex DH and he said I can use his.
Just been to town with OH as he is off work today as it is his birthday:j. Having party tea later at Noahs request:rotfl: then OH and I will have something later.
OH and I are having a day to ourselves on Sat when Noah is at his dads so we bought crispy duck and pancakes etc from M and S to have during the day while we are lounging in our PJs watching films and we are having steak etc in the evening. Having a snuggly day (maybe a la hester;):p:rotfl:)
Good to see you back MSD hope all is well:T0 -

Afternoon everyone - how are you all today?
It's a cold one here, but the office is boiling hot! Was very frosty this morning here but very calm too. Did a couple of loads of washing during the night, so not sure if they'll dry out. Left DH to hang them out seeing as he's still off work. It's role reversal in our house - I got to work and worry about the money, he stays at home and spends!!
It's sausage, mash and beans for tea tonight. Found the sausages in the freezer and thought I'd better use them. Last night's tea was very tasty - chicken and mushroom pie made my DH
Hope everyone's having a good day!0 -
Hi Everyone! Been MIA recently, partly due to horrible sickness bug. Can't remember feeling this bad in years! However, not eating must do something for the weight problem so maybe a silver lining somewhere! Does mean no tuition work this week tho' - not so good.
Very little OS. Decided the final batch of marmalade wasn't going to happen before the oranges went off, so froze them all and will make later on in the year. The first two batches resulted in more than enough to keep us going for many months! Ought to be dressmaking frantically as we are off on our travels this time next week, but have zero energy, so will probably need to go and but a couple of pairs of shorts and tops at the w/e.
Hope you all have a good day!Resolution:

Hi everyone,
I've not posted for a few days because I've ben feeling a bit down. Mum was rushed into hospital on Friday for the second time in less than 6 months. She had to have an emergency colostomy on Sunday, which she was given very little chance of surviving considering her other health problems (she's 78). She's pretty tough though and came through it ok, so now we've just got the recovery, I just hope that she doesn't have the same setbacks dad had last year. They've now got his and hers colostomies!!
Then today I was rung by the breast screening unit - the needle biopsy was inconclusive so I've got to go tomorrow for a vacuum biopsy and then it will be another week to wait for the result. I know it isn't long and if there is anything sinister it is in the very, very early stages but I just want to know.
Sorry, totally OT.
AngUK I hope your DH is recovering, I've been thinking of you.0 -
Afternoon all,
Welcome back Diva...we missed you lots.
Anguk....hugs
Snoozer....hugs to you and your mother.
Csarina...you sound so settled in....woodburners are great.
NPM...glad to hear that you have got decree sorted.
Feeling very cold to-day...not sure if its me or weather, maybe blood is thinning out....
Hope that everyone who has not been well is now improving.
Took some 'steak' out of the freezer yesterday for to-day's dinner....thought to myself that there seemed to be a lot...realised when OH went to cook dinner that it is shin beef (you are meant to label things in freezer???) so we are having cod which was money off in Lidl on Monday with roast veggies and wedges...will maybe feel warmer afterwards. Good thing is that I have put on a huge stew which should do at least 3 days for us, or may freeze it and have when DD2 and children are here in ten days time.
Safe journey on Saturday Mioliere, enjoy your second Christmas.
Welcome to any newbies

Hi everyone. Day off for me today. Went to pick my new car up AGAIN this morning! I picked it up last week but there was something wrong so I took it back....the turbo had gone!! They also replaced a wiper blade for me that was split.....so much for all they checks they supposedly do! All seems good now though.
I've been into town this afternoon. Got a bargain pair of shoes for £5!! they should have been £20. Also caught M&S as they were just doing the3 yellow stickers so followed the ladies round grabbing some bargains. Got about £15 of food for £6.91! Then treat myself to a subway for a late lunch. I also went for a contact lense trial. I have some in at the minute but I think they will take some getting used to, I am only intending to wear them for going out though.
When I got back from the garage this morning I set up my Wii (which was free as I won it in a competition!) and did 50mins of boxing and tennis. I then felt nicely motivated so did the downstairs cleaning.
Hope everyone is having a good/better day today. Take care all xxx0 -
DD not been to sleep so no rest this afternoon. I think I will give the kids an early bath as I think she'll be in bed early tonight.
Not done much this afternoon, running round after DD and picked DS from nursery. One of the mums from DS's nursery class wants me to have her boy 4 mornings a week so she's coming round to see me and the house on Tuesday. Bang goes my mornings (and any MSE surfing that I could manage with the kids) - wow if she does have a place it's going to be a shock to the system for me
Kinda got used to having Mon to thurs to myself and the kids during school hours.
It's quiet on here today - where has everyone gone???
Lisa - :T on your bargain pair of shoes and your Wii that you won! I can highly recommend Wii Sports Resort - it is so much fun
NPM - enjoy your day on Saturday
snoozer - hugs to you and your mum. Got to laugh at the his 'n' hers colostomies :rotfl:
Bargainbird - what car have you got? You were going to have a Scooby weren't you?
beemuzed - hope you're feeling less sicky soon xI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife
