eBayer wont sell me item...

Well, I bought another high value item today - worth about 50 quid, but I won it for 99p from a new seller as they had it finishing at a dumb time and had it worded badly. So I got a baragin

Anyway tonight I recieve an email from them saying their account "had been hacked" and the item "was never for sale"

Is this bollox or what?!

A seller is under no obligation to sell an item to you, even if you have won it at the auction. A common misconception among buyers on Ebay.

Now to quote ebay rules matey:

Most likely it is, but there is not an aweful lot you can do except open a NPS dispute and taking it from there.

Ahh technically they are. If they don 't you put your ebay account in danger as Clarkey said

Make the negative you leave really really count, that benefits the rest of us buyers as we will know to avoid dim sellers like that.
