eBayer wont sell me item...
Comments
-
Well, I bought another high value item today - worth about 50 quid, but I won it for 99p from a new seller as they had it finishing at a dumb time and had it worded badly. So I got a baragin

Anyway tonight I recieve an email from them saying their account "had been hacked" and the item "was never for sale"
Is this bollox or what?!0 -
A seller is under no obligation to sell an item to you, even if you have won it at the auction. A common misconception among buyers on Ebay.0

Now to quote ebay rules matey:A seller is under no obligation to sell an item to you, even if you have won it at the auction. A common misconception among buyers on Ebay.ebay wrote:Sellers aren't allowed to provide inconsistent or misleading information on the terms and conditions of the sale.
Once the buyer has committed to purchasing the item, sellers aren't allowed to change the terms of the sale which apply to that buyers transaction.
Andebay wrote:Seller non-performance - Sellers must honour the transaction contract. Sellers cannot fail to deliver an item for which payment was accepted, significantly misrepresent an item by not meeting the terms and item description outlined in the listing, or refuse to accept payment for an item at the end of a successful sale.
Sellers have to complete the transaction once the buyer has commited to buying it, failing to do so can get the suspended from ebay etc etc, read the rules please!0 -
