eBayer wont sell me item...

I was bidding on an item that is worth about £100. I won the item for £20 as it was finishing in the middle of the afternoon. I've emailed the seller asking when I can colelct, but they havent replied. I then requested thier details from ebay and I phoned them.
They are now saying it was advertised else where and it said this on the listing - which it didnt.
They have also said they have emailed me - which they havent.
I know they are just trying it on with me as thgey are a new ebayer with 1 feedback.
What shall I do...?

Personally I would pay with paypal if you think there is any chance at all they might try an nPB on you. Otherwise all you can do is neg them and leave appropriate stars.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Your better off looking to get it from a seller, rather than a buyer...
Why do so many people have problems with identifying who is a buyer and who is a seller in a transaction?0 -

unfortunately they do not have to sell
- he was probably miffed that he didn't get what he wanted for the item - but then he should have put a reserve price on it or started it at a higher price - silly seller - as #2 says pay via paypal at least then they can't do an NPB - you can then leave appropriate feedback and DSR ratings even if they do refund you back. I would also not agree to a mutual cancellation either as the cheeky seller may try and get their FVF fees back. 0 -
Well I got hold of them last night and they said the sold it else where for a higher price, yeah right...
Anyway, today I phoned them and the person "they sold it to" doesnt want it now.
But they said I can have it, but not for the £20 as it's too cheap LOL!0 -

Good grief, I really do think they should have some sort of IQ test before they allow people to list on ebay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. That is against Ebay rules anyway.
When I was selling my wedding dress I had it on Pre-loved and Ebay but Ebay shut down my auction saying I was breaking the rules by doing this.
