Is it possible that an anonymous email can be traced back to the sender

As for the post starter I wouldnt recommend snitching unless you are ready for the consequences if you get found out...would it be worth it? If you are a man and you are standing by your morale's then do it like a man. Dont hit and run then hide....

It sounds like the wrongdoer is hardly a gentleman himself. If you could count upon him to react "it's a fair cop, bang to rights, I'll accept what's due to me", then the above comment would make sense. Given the possibility of violence, it's a dumb thing to say.
