why not go into an internet caf!, pay by cash, create a new email account, send the email, then leave!

Make sure it is one with no CCTV and no CCTV covering the street outside, and never access the email account from any other computer to which you can be traced. Don't leave any DNA either.

Yeah, either wear latex gloves or remove your fingerprints in advance with acid. And don't forget to take a bleach spray with you to remove all traces of blood. Well it works on CSI anyway...;)

    Use TOR:

    http://www.torproject.org/

That way, no-one will know your IP address. Yahoo will then be the only people with any clues at all as to who you are, and they are not likely to give that information out to any Tom, !!!!!! or Harry.

    It depends.

If the email is legal, law enforcement wont be interested in chasing down the sender if someone asks them to. Unless you reporting bent coppers etc, in which case, you could maybe be traced.

If the person works for an authority, government etc, it depends if they can abuse their position (whatever it may be) to obtain data.

If the person is rich, they may be able to afford good lawyers to convince the ISP or YAHOO to release details.

Overall the risk is low if its a normal member of the public.
[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that

No it is not!- you do not have right (officialy) to do any extra curriculum activities to trace anyone unless you have got legal right to it!
There for... if anything would happen... and you'd be able to prove it so ()- he'd have to face charges...
    Gonna happen!... ever...
point is legally, where abouts you stand!:o
