Just been making barley and spinach risotto. Huge pot made, will take in a small serving to supplement my sandwiches - I seem to get hungry if lunch is a home made sandwich. Really need more fruit but will have to hold off until I do some grocery shopping.
Have a good week everyone and good luck!0 -
back on lentil. veg, and noodle soup today. Bringing in an extra serving for a collegue that admired it last time!

Wot, where'd everyone go? I baked some potatoes last night when I made pasta bake for dinner, so along with a tin of beans those will be lunch for the next two days. Sorted!Mortgage free by 30:eek:: £28,000/£100,000

Yesterday was a fail as we were out shopping. Today however I have Leek and Potato soup to eat. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

We have a birthday thing at work where you bring in cakes etc. for everyone on your birthday. This year I have baked some cakes, sliced them and only bought smart price ones (taken them out of the wrappers and put them in plastic cartons).
I am a bloke and quite enjoying my fruit cakes that I have baked from an old cookery book - Bero baking - I reckon each fruit loaf costs me about 70p and is really tasty, my OH enjoys them and so does our little dog!!!Debts as of June 2012 - £68,986.35Now £27,470.20 :T57% of debts cleared:beer:0 -
Ham sandwich and pot of barley risotto for me yesterday :-)
Had the same again today (I don't mind having the same thing for lunch two days in a row) BUT got taken out for lunch instead! Fried egg and bacon sandwich in local caff - lovely treat. And today's sandwich is in the fridge for tomorrow - result!!0 -
Hi all,
8 days left of February for me. So far so good.
Today was left over paella from last night and I've been having basic things the other days (toast-based mainly!). I might make a special effort to be more adventurous for the last week.
Good luck everyone.0 -
bit of a wobble two days last week, but apart from that have been ok. Have had soup yesterday and today, and probably take some pasta in or more soup for the rest of the week0
