February save on work lunches challenge

Last week was a nightmare at work ('special' secret meeting informs us of re-structure on tuesday morning, have to sit around wainting to hear if i have a job tuesday afternoon, dealing with people who have been placed in consultation (i.e. will lose their jobs) the rest of the week) so i didn't even really try that week (understandably)
I'm in for this week (seeing as i still have a job) and i'm going for 5/5 with a £3 limit for the entire week (for fresh baguettes for my soups).
To this end i went down to M&S yesterday to stock up on their lovely soups, they were on offer 3 for 2 so I've started on the right foot already!"I don't want to sound cold and un-caring, but I am those things so that's the way it comes out" - Bill Hicks0 -
6th day in a row for me!
Ham, pickle and salad sandwich, an apple and some noodles are keeping me going today :-)
Good Luck everyone!!0 -
OK can I still take part? I'm strictly not at work at the moment although it would be just as easy to be lazy and go out to the shops for a sanwich? Today, I made risotto for the first time. It was nice although I don't think I cooked the rice enough as some of it was still hard. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Of course you can still be part of the challenge, it's all about saving money at the end of the day, your home cooked food will be much cheaper than anything bought from the shops.OK can I still take part? Not sure how good a cook you are but the more you practice the better it will be for you in the long run. I'm not any good at cooking myself, I can do breakfast, improving on lunch and still have lots of work to do on my evening meals.Nearly debt free

I'm making minestrone soup for myself today and I bet the combined ingredients for that don't amount to £5.00. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
