This is really weird. It WILL copy to the email address box, to the email title box... but not to the main box.

Thanks but the copy and paste function is clearly picking up the stuff ok, from any source, wordprocessor included. It just won't copy to the main body boxes of my email accounts. It WILLl copy elsewhere.
Could it STILL be a wordprocessor problem, given this?0 -
What email software is it - just in your browser? If so which browser? Try closing and re-opening all browser windows, then retrying..
And what are you copying - is it just text or tables etc.?
PS no I don't think it is your word processor. We have identified that it is paste that isn't working, and paste (as far as I know) is either handled by the OS or, handled by the OS and the target application, in this case your email. So my money is on your email client that is causing the problem...0 -

Just wondering if it might have anything to do with my Chrome browser - although I am fairly sure it has worked during the time I've been using it.0

OP says "suddenly", have you rebooted the PC? Just a thought, maybe it got its knickers in a twist and a reboot will sort it out.
I've seen this happen randomly on apps before, always a nuisance when it does.0
