Subwoofers are a must imo to a sound system in a car, music lacks depth without them, and anyway whats wrong with driving listening to loud music and getting an intense back massage to boot;) lol
Low frequency does not damage the ears as much as high frequency does therefore subs are harmless and tweeters are the speaker of the devil lol0 -
And I'm less annoyed by loud bass in cars than I am by loud exhausts. Just no need! My Brother in law has the loudest exhaust I've ever heard, its ridiculous. You can literally hear it a mile away.
And I thought (done properly) a louder exhaust is a byproduct of adding a few horsepower, for example fitting as freeflow manifold? Hey, some engines need a bit of help!0 -
