High bass has been linked to early heart attacks so hopefully its just a case of Darwins law.

oo yea most definatly, IMO doing things like that to your car is a waste and the amount some people spend on their car is crazy, you may aswell buy a decent car that amount

Well I'm afraid I do enjoy driving around listening to loud dance music, sorry, but you're right there. Funny thing is, if you look on ebay at these stupidly modified 1.0 corsas, they're worth the same if not less than a stock one! I have been tempted to buy one tbh; you get all that free effort already spent, not to mention often thousands worth of mods. So these people spend £2k on a £1500 car on things which add nothing to its performance (ok they get superb sounding ICE), then its worth £1200 at the end.
And another thing - you know often the loud bass you hear is just that - a bass box in the car going boom boom boom just to sound good outside the car. Not even listening to music!

yeh thats true about the bass box , i enjoy driving round with fairly high music aswell but for some reason i hate it when people consider their car is better than mine just casue they have a 12" sub in that back and makes the music sound even worse at times. i rather get a decent car. such as a nissan GTR lol but ofc cant afford that...

my mate has a audi a4 which he spent £1000 on gettin it resprayed lambo white and put neons on his body kit to try and make it look like a R8 headligts lol not jus that he spents over £3k on his sound system when he could buy a perfectly good integra if he wanted same price faster and looks nicer :D

    That is total rubbish.
If you can reference a medical journal and not the tabloid press article, I might be convinced.
If there was a shred of truth, Jamaican's would be dropping like flies.

This is nothing compared to exhausts on a !!!!py "shopping cart" type car.

My neighbour has a scaffold pipe for an exhaust on his r-reg polo. You can hear him three streets away and, no doubt, he thinks it makes his heap go faster...keep dreaming.
