morning you chatty bunch...
Pap - glad you're okay, y'know you can call/text me anytime you feel low hun...
GM comes home tonight.. so i might see him tomorrow night probably, and we're definitely doing something on saturday afternoon with erin for her birthday, and then mum is minding her overnight....
Then i have to decide whether that is enough to keep me going for an 11 week wait while he goes back to US... or if we go our seperate ways and consider other avenues...I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
I have loads of the sainbury's platters that they do buffet sandwiches on Bunny. They keep sandwiches fresh for hours and sandwiches are cheap to make if you chose the right fillings.0

ok i'm going to get ready to go to the hospital, put a bit of slap on my face and make myself look presentable
wish me luck lolBoiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
The only thing with a cold buffet is you have to do a LOT of food to cover for 100 people bun. Should be easier though to divvy out to more people so you don't have to do it all though, so thats a bonusI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Spoke to lady that deals with the hall today-SLIGHT change in plans as no longer an oven/cooker there-just microwave...
Can't keep food warm so chilis/curries off the menu...
Spoke to Snags and we(she) is going to amend spread sheet-I think this will actually be easier as not big things to worry about cooking.
Ideas please?!
If I was doing a big cold buffet I would do:
sausage rolls
scotch eggs
pork pies
cold chicken legs
dips
crudite (can make my now famous dip!)
crisps
tortillas with salsa
quiche
cheese board with crackers/pate
ummmmm
Few bowls of Rice Salad and Pasta Salad...
French Stick or sarnies (take longer to prepare though)
few bowls of salad
ColeslawI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

No Pap he wont - its likely the first guard will say to you 'changing at...' to confirm - I always had one ticket for Bristol to Cambridge which involves changing through London and its fine
It may also say on your ticket 'valid via...'
Phew thanks Becky, never done changes before (well except in Temple meads) so bit scared :rotfl: The bottom of the ticket does say 'routes ~ xc & connections'Plus I have loads of seat reservations for all the different trains
Bookie, can you pm me your email address
Sally, phew, I wonder why when me amd Mum went Bristol-Bath through Temple Meads (change) it gave me 8 tickets for 2 adults
Maz, Thanks hunni :A I hope everything with Gm either goes well/changes course because you want it too0 -
