In one time and place it was illegal to give help to a Jewish person. Does that mean it would have been wrong to do so?! I think not!

In many cases the big corporations pretty much write the law so it works their way. For example look at the DCMA in America.

They also fix prices, which is in fact against laws in many countries.

Anyway.. the difference is, by downloiading movies you are infringing copyright laws!!! Its BLATENT STEALING! By not paying for the film, they are not receiving money for the product they created!!!!

Thats like saying "oh.. you created this amazing thing that i love? good, well i'm not giving you a penny, bye"

If everyone did that there'd be no movies to download for a start...

Dear me... That jewish argument though.. pathetic.

(The other difference is, stealing is immoral, and so is not helping someone in need no matter what race!)

i think the point raised which is still in keeping the question asked about going the pictures is some people will suggest and do the option of downloading films as they are fully aware of the over priced film tickets and substandard conditions at the pictures. is this right of course not, does the indervidual get a better deal yes! is it illegal yes! is it morraly wrong many people would say no! if u wish to go and pay for the movies go ahead the rest of us will just watch them for free and there aint a lot u can do to change that! btw i do pay to see independent films not the big rubish ones we get forced down our throats!

No. There is no deal involved. Its stealing. The indervidual is not getting a better deal.. the individual is stealing the product! (Unless you believe 5 finger discount is a better deal in a supermarket.. then go for it!)
