lol.

If I ever buy another thing, shoot me. I have spent all day trying to put away the stash of toiletries that I spent all last night getting out to photograph for the toiletries thread. I can't fit the bl**dy stuff back from the very same cupboard (that leads to Narnia) that it all came out of in the first place. So then I thought I would swap my handbags over from a sort of display unit that I have in one wardrobe to the toiletries cupboard. Then put the toiletries in the display unit. Are you still with me? I just have too much stuff and I never want to shop again. I am tired, I have got the hump and I don't like myself very much and I have to be up at 5.30 am tomorrow and I don't feel like I have had a weekend. Rant over. I hope to be in a better mood tomorrow. Good night all. Enjoy your crisps.0

"Dont want to shop again"
Are you feeling ok?Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
Morocha, I wonder what you will buy (apart from crisps lol) ?
I just read some advice on an addiction site - everytime you are about to give in to your cravings - shopping or other habits, ask youself? -
What would my non-addicted self be doing now?0 -
Actually I feel pretty sick with myself (nothing to do with all the crisps eaten
). I don't think we can help it as women to be honest. Men - jeans, trousers, couple of pairs of shoes, few tops and they are done. We NEED loads more stuff - long sleeve, short sleeve, inbetween sleeves, long, short mid length, shoes, boots, sandals, matching/co-ordinating jewellery, bags, make-up....etc.....etc. It's not fair - we send ourselves mental just because we are FEMALE. Men don't have these problems, do they?

And all our fashions change seasonly... for a man its normally very similar
See, I think the government should give us a shopping allowance to apologise to us for being female?!

hey, don't give yourself such a hard time (though I hope the feeling of not wanting to buy, lasts) xx
Indiangirl: I think men definitely have it easier... but my younger brother is a bit like me when it comes to buying toiletries and clothes he'll never wear, so I guess it's not always the case. They have less choice I suppose!
& NGLady, I'm actually going to sit and work out what % of my wardrobe I wear. This could be a shocker...0 -

I think stock taking is worse, because we then have to face up to how much we have spent, how much we don't use, which in turn actually shows us how much we have wasted. I feel like all of my stuff is a waste as I don't get to go out much, feel cold a lot and have health issues. If I didn't go to work I could quite happily live in pj's or jogging bottoms!! hmmm...I think my addictions probably started when I started work and mixed with more women and what do women do at lunch time - shop - and then show and tell! Better get to bed now. Take care all x0

Yes I was thinking today Indiangirl - well i went mad in the matalan sale when everything went half price, took a lot back but didnt everything. so thats 30.00 down the pan cos i havnt worn anything :O
that skirt i brought was 30.00 - so if i was more careful with my money id have money to buy investment sale peices!
I've been thinking why im like I am. And i think its because i grew up in a family whilst there was a lot of love, there wasnt a lot of money for fashionable clothes. So when i finally got a job and my own money, it was like omg i can finally afford to be stylish, does that sound stupid?Learning to be 'good with money'0
