    Hi girls,

WOW, what a lot of posts since last night.

NGlady - such a fantastic bloke you've got there - not only enjoying going round the shops, then buying you a bag but also doesn't mind being 're-modelled' with his clothing style! One in a million.

I'm happy that you enjoy your work as well. Love the long update. Unfortunately I didn't have any Teddy crisps (I was just fantasizing about them when I mentioned them) instead I had a pringles and tomato sauce sandwich without any marge or butter (ran out).

Today I shocked myself by steam cleaning a lot of floors BEFORE breakfast. Walking soon to the May fair (yuk it's raining) so might buy a load of junk in the car boots so will be aimed with many plastic bags just in case of a bargain. I'm thinking of books, that's my usual vice.

    Morocha - HAPPY HOLIDAYS :T

For the rest of you - be careful of those takeaways and McDonalds - think of your figure and all those lovely summer clothes that are calling your name :)

Thanks Anglea...I am too minging today to bother going out anywhere....tomorrow I am off out to town to sell some bits to Cash Converters/the music store including one of my guitars; the other will go next week once I've used it for Saturday's show.
Spent the morning doing a declutter and am doing really well; binned 4 large bags full so far and found some items to give to charity...also going to try and sell some stuff on eBid.

Angela, tomato ketchip sarnies, not had one of those in years!! Butter/marge/spread on bread in my opinion is just wrong, I hate the taste, and the texture makes me wretch - who wants to know a grose dream about butter which put me off ever eating yellow stuff on my bread again ? lol

Going to try and not re-model him too much, otherwise he wont be the guy im starting to grow very fond of :)

Awww may fair, not been to one of those in years, its abso throwing it down in the sunny east midlands so wont be going near one lol - dont buy too many books haha.

Todays spends - Been out with mum and dad so brought dinner at a fiver, then sisters birthday pressie @ £10 and some food for my dinner next week at £4 which works out miles cheaper than buying each day :)

Decided what to do ref my holiday :) My mum and dad are going to Tunisia again for two weeks in November, the place there going to I would love to go for a week but not a fortnight, so I am having my own room :D and im going to travel to them in the second week and then obviously travel home with them :) which I think is a great idea overall :)

    Hi all

Flickering E. I've always wanted to go to a Cash converter (don't live anywhere near one and buses don't go there from where I live) so feeling envious of you - hope you get a good price for your guitar - wonder if you'll see something to buy in return? My goodness, you've done well with all that decluttering!

NGlady - yes I do want to hear about your yukky dream because it could help me steer away from butter. Sometimes I eat Lurpak on it's own it's so nice.

I didn't buy any books today, nor any other junk at the fair. Did some grocery shopping on the way home that was all the spending I did. Good idea about the holiday in Tunisia. Having your own room (nudge nudge wink wink :rotfl:)

NO way, I am definitely not going to buy ANYTHING; I want to set the money aside for the future, although when I sell the other guitar I am going to buy a replacement; I need a smaller one as I keep hurting my wrists struggling with the fretboard on the standard size models.

Yet more stuff being binned/dumped in a pile ready for charity including a silver tote bag full of clothing.

Angela, my mum has already joked that I will be an instant hit with the locals thanks to my blue eyes :( Been joking with her im gonna stop off at the wedding office on the way to the hotel, she wasnt impressed lol.

Ok - remember years ago, when people used to have carpets in their kitchens? I had this dream that I was at my grandmas making a cake, and she dropped a big lump of butter on the floor. She said she wasn't going to waste it, so with her wrinkly fingers she picked it up, lots of hairs on it, and put it in her mouth without her teeth and began to gum it and you could just see it squelching in her mouth - fancy a sarnie ;)

FlickeringE - good luck at cash converters!!

I had a little debate with my best friend in London the other day. What do you call a Cob? Is it a roll or a barm or a bap to you? It's cob to me and nobody ever knows what I mean lol.

NG, thanks. I am from London originally and called it a (bread) roll. I now live in Liverpool where they call it a barm (cake). The word in brackets can be taken away as used in both ways.

Well done for your strong resolve FE - and the work. Now I'm going to crown you as the 'Declutter Queen' :)

NGlady - that's a really good dream - you ought to post it on the weight loss threads! They'll be size 10 in no time LOL

Rolls - I suppose we all make up our own interpretations even if they are incorrect - here's what I call them -

Cob - I would call a wholemeal one possibly squarish.
Baps - those flatter bigger rolls which are soft.
Barm cakes I would call a toasted tea cake.
    Lardy cakes - very fattening

I love the phrase "Lardy cakes" lol.

FE - i was walking past a cafe in manchester on sat and I saw a chip barm, took me a minute to figure they meant chip cob lol. Im going to the liverpool one centre in June, can't wait is it as amazing as it looks?

Im trying to figure out how to get a young persons rail card, think they will be amazing with the amount of journeys ive got planned over the next couple of months! :)

I have no idea what a barm is.
We call baps/rolls 'buns' here, lol, we have to be awkward.
