Oh I am the complete same. I have a mini walk in wardrobe and a free standing wardrobe plus draws so LOTS of space, but its always so packed I cant close doors, which is untidy
Also clothes rub against each other which causes bobbles.
Because i can never find anything, I always wear the same peices over.. and over again. I have two clutch bag draws, but use the same four as I cannot find things, same pairs of shoes over and over as I can't find the ones I want to wear easily.
A friend of mine had swine flu this summer, so she spent a week taking pictures of everything in her wardrobe and cataloging it on her computer so she can now see what shes got. I dont have a spare week though lol.
Purchases today
Took £8.50 out with me.
Spent. £1.30 on a single bus ticket (was £2.60 but got lift back so that part of ticket is for monday)
Spent £4.50 on dinner (was a treat as I had spent 4 long hours applying for a job, normally id have brought some shoes lol)
Leaving £2.70 which has gone in my money tin for my june birthday shop

My wardrobe's like that too and I always wear the same few things.
My wardrobe is full of things I've had for years and never wear. I more or less stopped buying clothes a couple of years ago and just stick to the same things week in, week out. It is a huge trauma if I ever have to go out somewhere and am required to find something different to put on.

I think the key here is WHY DID YOU GO ON THE WEBSITE:huh:
My feeling is there is always something "worth buying" in terms of its reduced or discounted , its reasonably nice, it will feel nice coming in through the door.
We are literally swamped with opportunities for buying. I culled 70 sales emails yesterday and havent checked my email yet to see what today's deluge is. :wall: this is what they want us to do! Just spend!
I do find it difficult to stop. "its only a few £" type shops. Was browsing the shower gels in 99p stores today, was actually thinking about buying them! Lucky for me I remembered my "smell them first" and put them back and promptly legged it. A minor success. As was seeing 4 tins orf coconut milk for a £1. I thought it would be useful. then I remembered my frugal challenges and thought- NO THIS IS JUST SOMETHING THAT WOULD BE USED UP- and Id be a £ shorter in the meanwhile.
Every day, in a small way, we must try to resist - AND NOTE DOWN WHEN WE DID to remind ourselves WE CAN AND HAVE been strong in the past and that we will be RICHER- both financially and spiritually if we do so .
Must write that and put it in my purse lol
keep strong everyone x
NG lady, what other websites do you look at? I look at competitions, mystery shopping, surveys, Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

I nearly bought some (note the plural, I can't just buy a single one of anything just in case there might be none left next time :embarasse ) cinnamon candles for 99p each today in Savers, but I knew I didn't really need them so I resisted.Time may be a great healer, but it's a lousy beautician....0 -

For me it's denim skirts - all I can prise out of the closet! NGlady - now I have to ask - why would you consider a dress in the wrong size?0 -
I've always been quite interested in doing surveys etc in my spare time. How easy are they to get onto doing? Do they effect your tax code etc? I mainly look at fashion sites, so to be able to do things online would be great stuff.
No I get a VIP card, so I call the call centre, they track down the right size of the item im after in a store - i ring the store. Pay for the item over the phone using my vip card then pay the vip card back to the call centre same time. I've had to speak to scotland and portsmouth and god knows where in my quest for my wardrobe lol.Learning to be 'good with money'0 -
I was having a necessary spend only day - nappies and toothpaste.
I then ruined it by spending £28.50 on food in M&S. One carrier bag full. :mad:0 -
