Top claim on ebay is getting a bit boring now, even though my link to the page showing the sizes was broken, she could have entered the website, that I gave the name of and found it quite easily. What am I supposed to do, drive the top to her house, wave the wrong tag size in her face, and say 'here, now do you believe me?' very annoying. *mumble, mumble*

I know. The woman is blatently in denial, has refused me a refund, even though I've more than clearly demonstrated that I know my stuff. I've already explained to her that I have three other tops of that brand bought from the website I was referring her to and that I'm a italian size 44 Oh well, I have the photos so I'll forward those on and see where we get with that. The thing is, if she'd done her homework and actually tried the top on, she wouldn't need to have put it on ebay in the first place, because it's her size. Part of me says sod it, just put it on there to sell myself, but my stubborn, persistant side won't back down. :(

More ebay listing this weekend methinks. What a boring fart, nothing to report really. Trying to get approval to ILM, and washed the car today. Hmmm, old washer woman hands , and peeling nails. How attractive!!!

    Anything happening with you guys?

Just paid another £7 off the debt. I could pay more, but I wanted to get below the £50 mark on one of the cc's so now £6948 rather than£6955, makes me feel a bit better. At a bit of a loose end tonight. Have had quite a productive day, but when I really just want to watch some trash tv, the freeview box doesn't want to play ball. I think it's more that we are out in the country and can't get a signal. Just really bored and feel cut off living out here tonight. Maybe I'll just grab a bath a read a bit more of my book. :)

Very productive day. Wrote some of my minutes, raked leaves off the grass, did the washing, cleaned car inside and out and cut down all overgrown ivy on trellis. Naughty, bought top from Dorothy Perkins, although it was £10 and it is a dressy t-shirty top with puff sleeves, so can be worn for any occasion, I'll get my moneys worth out of it.

Got some books from the library, so off for a nice hot bubble bath and a relax, after a busy day. :)

    Morning ladies

Just had a chuckle looking at one of the other forums. Advertisement for 75% off lady items. Why is it that I'm nearly 30 and still embarrassed about buying my feminine hygiene items? Even now I call them items of a female nature, I feel embarassed buying them in front of anyone else, and never go to a till with a young boy on when buying them. How weird is that?

I remember being mortified as a young person of 13 and the day 'aunt flo' came to town. There I was walking a good full isle behind my mum in the supermarket, and as we approached the mystery shelf that I had never visited before, she does nothing more than grabs the nearest packet, holds them up in the air and shouts 'are these your usual?' just as one of the boys from my class appeared. Unable to disappear up my own behind, I gave a feeble nod, and into the trolley they went.

Well of course they weren't anything like I had before, they were huge towels that looked like a family and all their extended relatives could sail away to sea on them. So big that they made me waddle when I walked, and of course the ladies at school commented on the way I was walking.

Lunchtime discussions ensued and one of my friends who was proud that she was now an adult, wipped out of her bag an entire collection of very chic looking 'items of a feminine nature', all shapes and sizes to guide her through her different stages of 'flo'. Sorry if that was too much information this time of the morning, but had to share it!

  • Hi Thrifty
Just found your diary whilst having a lazy Sunday morning browse.
I remember having to endure the waddle, because Mum knew best !
But look at the array of products now, I guess at least Mum only had one two choices then we only had a few seconds of the embarrassment to endure. Now with your wings, your thong style, without wings, scented, unscented, dear me....

Is a good frame of mind to be chipping away at payments with a below £50 mark in mind, baby steps turn into giant leaps that way.
