Sorry to hear that Nic. It is always hard the first year. I wish that I could say that you forget but you dont, it just gets easier. Will check out the George programme.

It's inevitable Butti. They are going to make us work until we're 112!

RBS sitting at £904.53. I am being frustrated again by the sheer amount of time it takes to process overpayments! Currently waiting for £207.52, £9.25 and £73 respectively to come off, which will take it down to £622.76... eventually!

I have switched to Primus tonight too halving my current D/D to BT. So once it's processed I'll be paying £6.49 rather than £12.65 plus whatever BT was hiking the prices up to!

Next in line is to phone Orange and ask them to get rid on the MMS bolt on that appears still to be on the account. But since I can't get out of their price hike until May, I will at least reduce my payment.

Right, off to update my signature.

I'm little Miss Grumpy tonight. I have had the cold the last few days and can't shift my headache. Last night it didn't bother me as I was out for the count but tonight I am everything is blocked up - including my patience! :o

Oh dear Miss Grumpy......... try not to get too wound up. Not good for a cold that.

Just saw the BBC weather alerts and it looks like you will be battening down the hatches tomorrow. Stay safe.

Thank you MrsMoo. Yes, the weather looks a bit scary! It's been a bit of a hairy week weather wise so far so I will play it safe. Is it to be as bad in Wales? I hope you are not having to travel too far this week.

I am loving the amount of property programmes on this week. I think my flat-mate must be going insane - he hates them. I on the other, never watch much TV but could sit all day watching Phil and Kevin and George and sometimes I may even tolerate Kirstie and Sarah too. :rotfl:

I think we have snow forecast for the end of the week and high winds but nothing as bad as you. Not going too far workwise. Local meeting tomorrow and then on leave for a week and a day.

I love property programmes too.As I dont own a tv then they are the things I choose to watch on iplayer. In fact the Austrian house was on Place in the Sun some years ago and is still on 4od.

Speaking of iplayer - off to watch tonights Masterchef. You take care of yourself and dont venture outdoors if you can get out of going to work even better.

Look after yourself in that wind!

I love property programmes too - is your Sarah Sarah Beeny? She used to be known round me as The Blessed Sarah, in much the same way as Martin was known as The Blessed Martin :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: property and saving money, the new religions of our times :D

I am not scheduled to go too soon Nic, I expect to get the keys at the end of March but that is a wait and see date depending on how the couple living there get on with buying something themselves. I have agreed to extend the rental to then when originally it was going to be the end of January. I would not see anybody on the streets though so happy to let them stay until they are sorted.
