Also on looking at the set sold through other companies the set contains 2 full sized shampoo's AND conditioners along with the other things.
Ebuyer could have easily avoided this by giving a description or publishing their disclaimer when they put it on sale.
By doing the above they are acting illegally (cba quoting the law as I already have in here and my situation has now been completely rectified :T)
HTH's you understand the complaints......companies should not be able to act illegally regardless of how much the item in question cost :j0 -
We did realise this but this is not the problem. the problem is ebuyer fail to give sufficient description leaving the customer to make reasonable assumptions given the information available (the pic, contents worth £25 and the review) The pic shows a full size shampoo (rest regardless), some people genuinely believe their kit is not worth £25 and the review states a previous customer recieved 2 shampoos.

I do understand all the above Lil Tiger but it didnt stop you or others buying at the time in hope that you would get shampoo's but now the shampoo's arent in some of the boxes you are happy to complain over £2.50 odd per box. Surely if the legalties of it all bothered you this much you would of contact them to advise them as soon as you saw the bargain not after you had seen it, brought and paid for then waited for it to be delivered before you put your legal head on to complain.
Again i am not trolling or anything but it just seems really silly as you were all happy to order at the time know there wasnt a clear precise description of what you would receive but happy to complain after the event when you didnt get exactly what you wanted"Do, or do not. There is no 'try'."0 -
Hiya,
I ordered my sets before people posted that the sets didnt contain any of the large shampoo...
I'm not that fussed that it's mark hill, i normally use tresemmie which (as my aunt is a hairdresser) i can get dirt cheap when buying in bulk. I'm not going to be using the spray etc, so my order was purely based on the large bottles of shampoo/conditioner...OK, i will use the mini's when i go away.
So if i'm only to receive 1 large bottle on conditoner @ 2.55 + p&p hasn't worked out too good for me.......A glitch a day, keeps the doc away0 -

How could I advise them on the legalities before I recieved the product and realised they were wrong? I had no reason to believe otherwise at the time of ordering....:) I dont quite understand how I can say something is not as described until I get it and find out it is not as described...do you???
When all is said and done, if youre happy with what you get, and think it complied with what you expected to get then good for you :T I personally felt mislead and so complained.....Ebuyer customer service (or lack of) made the situation worse and I had to take the matter further, I have now sorted everything out and i am over the moon with my bargainI have said all along the packs without the shampoo are still a bargain, but not as good as we were led to believe...

Hi received mine this afternoon...
5* Ulitmate sets
2* large conditioner
2* Small shampoo
1* small conditioner
1* Large glossy mist
4* Colour care
2* large conditioner
1* small conditioner
1* small shampoo
2* protector spray
So enough conditioner to see me until my grave, but not enough shampoo to see out the week. 1 of the small shampoo has leaked a bit (not much but still).....
I'll give them a call, see what they say ..............A glitch a day, keeps the doc away0 -
Update....
I called this morning explaining the situation, they no longer are able to send any more of the sets out (they must of been pulled) so she offered me a partial refund (£7.65) which i accepted.
Overall, i am pleased but they could of pre-warned us that they sets may not be what you originally expected.A glitch a day, keeps the doc away0 -

Good job i ordered all those bottles of tresemmie from Lloyds phamacy, i now have enough to see my through til xmas 2014A glitch a day, keeps the doc away0 -
I would hate to be behind you in Mc'Donalds after you pull back the lid on the Big Mac burger and compare it with the pics behind the counter. It was very good deal and you know it but because you saw others getting a little more you wanted some, when that did'nt go well you spat your dummy. Personally i would'nt give you anything back. I understood it was a selection of Mark Hill products as did alot of others on here, but because of a Ebuyer forum post and a screen pic you got greedy.
lol least big macs have everything in them that is advertised on the pic (dry bread, nasty sauce, excuse for lettuce, paper thin burger) the grease is just a bonus :rotfl:
at the end of the day Ebuyer were at fault, hence why they changed their advertisement, then removed it completely. Yes it was a good deal....but the completed packs were a better deal, Im glad I dont let companies rip me off....as for the people who are 'happy with what they get' im genuinely happy for you, you must be so understanding to accept fraudulent and misleading behaviour....
after all, who aims for 2nd best? I know I dont :j
EDIT: lmfao @ the removal!!!!!!! changed your mind did you?0 -
!!!!!! the phrase get a life springs to mind
I am sure e buyer will be more careful in the future and more cautious
However this was unintentional I'm sure they advertised it in good faith
The sets obviously came in pre packed from Mark Hill and were bought as a job lot
They advertised them in good faith & helped those who had problems
They changed the advert as soon as they realised they had an issue
They have obviously got stock left but have chosen to withdraw it
If they had checked by hand every sealed box before despatch we would not have been getting them so cheap
I don't see what more ebuyer could have done ?
But I can't believe the fuss some of you are kicking up"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0
