dress situation has been sorted thanks to a wonderful special friend of mine, won't be the monsoon one but a much better money saving option. i shan't go into details but she knows who she is and how much i appreciate her xxx
anyway back on track, today i have done nothing again and this is totally unacceptable! so my goals for this evening are...
[STRIKE]-make chickpea curry (i am sooo hungry!)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]-make banana bread [/STRIKE]in oven as i type
[STRIKE]-tidy up bedroom[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]-reorganise wardrobe to make easier/tidier[/STRIKE]pretty much done!
[STRIKE]-find out about selling on amazon to perhaps sell some books(if i can bear to part with them, ibooks!)[/STRIKE]got a bit of info form mcbirnie
[STRIKE]-do the giant pile of dishes in the kitchen before they eat you![/STRIKE]
you know getting stuff done would be much easier if i bought a laptop and went wireless...then i could do mse while i do everything else!0 -
well i pretty much finished off my list from yesterday, moved a few bits in the wardrobe to condense it etc and the only mess in there now is the pillows/cushions from last nights sleep.
todays list
[STRIKE]-clean bathroom[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]-attempt to use barkeepers friend on the shower[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]-scrub the floor[/STRIKE]must remember to do this AFTER hoovering and not before
-paint bedroom cupboard door (if enough gloss left)
-masking tape glass on bedroom door
-continue clearing up wardrobe
-head down to the gym shortly after sixish
first thought im [STRIKE]gonna grab a shower[/STRIKE], i know it seems a little silly getting showered before doing the cleaning and gym but i'm not feeling very human through my laziness these days and hope this will help. then i'll grab a [STRIKE]cuppa as i get dressed[/STRIKE]!
also aiming for a no spend day, but i used the last of the fairy up liquid last night so if i have lot of dishes to do this evening i may have to pop into asda
xx
right i am now all clean, dressed and watered...now i just need to get off my !!!!! adn do the cleaning!0 -
right so i've finished the bathroom, knew it wouldnt be a too difficult job! last thing to do is put toothbrush holder back in after it gets washed!
while this site was having a minor heart attack  i had a quick cuppa and some pasta (if im going to the gym i'll need the energy!) and applied through quidco for the pru health cover. i get £115 cashback and the first month costs me £20.01 so i'll make a £94.99 profit! not too bad for ten minutes work :j
(which also means IF i do still get that monsoon dress it will be at the much more reasonable cost of £40.01, bargain! :rotfl: )
now once i finish this pasta (and catching up with you guys) i'll go get stuck into the bedroom....had a wee panic when the site went down because i couldnt remember my to do list and this was my only record of it :eek:0 -

Ha lol there's nothing to tell! I love reading other people's diaries
I had around £700 debt but its cleared, so sometimes I feel like I shouldnt wander round here. I'm 20, a student and that's about it! Study music, I play the piano, flute, sax and flute!

at the same time? you are one very talented girl!:rotfl:
don't worry about already being debt free and being on here, we non debt free'rs need all the advice, help and encouragment from you lot that we can. doesn't matter how little the debt you give us inspiration!
on the musical side of things, i started learning the flute but it only lasted a couple of months, i moved schools and the new one didn't give the encouragment the old one did. i played the keyboard for (too) many years though. just looked it out after ? years in the cupboard for a friend who wants to learn something new:o0 -

I just like giving encouragement when someone has a good day, its a nice feeling to know you're not alone in whatever. Do you still play? I love playing the piano when I'm stressed or whatever; I'm at the stage now where I have a lot of pieces memorised, so I can play whatever to suit my mood and cheer me upthe only downside is that the practise rooms are often freezing!

i havent played in years, they did have a piano at my halls of residence when i was ooh 18 ish, i managed to remember how to play brian adams-everything i do, loved that song! couldnt manage it the same on the piano though what with all the louder sounds with more force etc. my wee fingers had never been trained to hit the keys hard etc though i think i may have enjoyed playing the piano more than i did the keyboard. when i'm a millionaire and live in my big house i'm gonna have a grand piano in it...oooh and put all my photos in posh frames on it :rotfl:
almost tempted to fire it up now tho after talking about it, see if my fingers are as dextrous as they used to be!0 -
You should do! I'm sure you'd remember some of it - its kinda like riding a bike; once you learn, you never forget!
