I went to Boots today. I can see the top of my olay regenerist cleanser and, though I have another in stock, I had 2 vouchers. I also wanted to get another total effects self heating skin exfoliator as I only have this open one. I thought I had seen it in boots.
Anyway, there were no regenerist cleansers so I got 2 of the thermal skin polisher. I thought that when the other comes back in stock I could get the cleanser as a swap.

I love the Regenerist Thermal Skin Polisher - I was actually debating replacing the one I've got on the go at the moment with the £5 voucher but decided against as I do have other cleansers & scrubs to be going on with.
Loo roll is something I always buy on offer. DH once laughed because I bought something like 200 loo rolls. At the time we had a few spare roms, people buzzing in and out...for supper, for coffee, to stay....sometimes we had 8 or sopeople staying for a fortnight.....

the loo rolls got used really quickly. I buy them in bulk, because its not ike it goes off/goes out of fashion.

It's something I always buy in Makro as they usually have a BOGOF on the big packs of a good brand. With only two of us in the flat though we do tend to find it takes us a while to use it!

I have to agree with this and didn't really think about it till you mentioned it but I've just discovered a mostly unused Body Shop Indian Gardenia set that an ex from a difficult/happy/sad/exciting relationship gave me, I just don't know what to do with it as every time I smell it reminds me of all the best and worst moments. Sometimes I spray the perfume on and think about him and wonder if I made a huge mistake. That, a perfume and a photo are all I have left of him and I don't know if I should use it up orput it in a special box and keep it forever :o

Does anyone know if Mr T has toilet roll on offer at the mo? I usually buy their own version with the 24 rolls as this lasts for about 5 months.

I hate No7 mascara and it costs almost as much as the excellent Lancome ones. For cheaper Boots brands I recommend Rimmel Glam Eyes or Max Factor Masterpiece max. They are both close to false lash effect though so if you perfer the natural look don't buy them.
I'm still catching up but just to say I love Max Factor Masterpiece Max. It's about a tenner but its really lovely! I found I started getting sore eyes when I used Rimmel. Used to be ok, maybe they changed them a bit. MF often do 3 for 2 so useful if you NEED(!) to buy other bits.

    Snipped...

yes Ithink you are right, might hang onto the perfume for a bit though...:D
I have super dry skin that itches a lot (dermatitis) but is also prone to hormonal acne, and it works a treat at calming it down. I have tried everything on my skin, but it's always E45 and Sudocrem that I reach for.

I'm not sure if it would work so well if you have oily skin? Might cause spots? I'm not sure, unfortunately I've never had oily skin.

Is E45 ok to use on the face? My skin is awfully dry at the moment!

Fnished off a little tube of hand wash today, yay!

  • Evening all,

Used up a neals yard orange flower cleanser that I'd started. Lovely smell but just not right for my skin. And that's all.

I've started the Sainsbury Active Naturals hand cream and it's really good for £1.99, leaves a gentle sheen on the backs of the hands.

We haven't seen many lists of stash recently. Being as we've being doing this a while hopefully everyone is making a dent in their stash.:D

  • Regarding muslims drinking, I have muslim friends here who do drink, and jewish friends who drink... It depends how strict they are apparently :). I also didn't take the full loan to someone who thought I did, not sure why i'm defending myself on an internet forum but heyho.

I used up a No7 handscrub that had been open over a year..smelled funky!! I unearthed more stuff today!!

Despite liking the L'Oreal one, I can't resist trying Tara's recommendation for the Superdrug one, so £1.95 won't be too damaging to the budget!

    :j:j:j Hope you love it!
I've got 16 items ending today on Ebay. I'm not looking forward to the Post Office, but at least they'll be out of my stash.

Did they all sell? I had 2 things ending today - one didn't sell, boo. Never mind - I've relisted it and my next 4 items ending tomorrow all have bids (yay) xo
Ooh what are the £5 cardies like? I didn't think Primark did £5 cardies anymore... the last cardigan I bought from there was £13  I don't bother with them anymore as in Zara their cardies are only £20 and they wash a lot better than Primarks. But if they're back to £5 again then they're worth it.

They're lovely! I'll be washing one tomorrow so will update you then.

eklynne, keep us posted about the job... and I'm sure you smelled fab! xo

I'm sorry you feel need to defend your self. My comment was not meant to be aggressive. My (jewish) family drink if they want to. :)
