    Hi everyone!

Thanks for all your updates during February. I have used up 4 products this month so that is £4 in to my saving pot and I haven't bought anything either.

I have finished off a sample of Origins Make a Difference facial cream. WIBA -no, for me the cream is far too rich.

I have put 3 samples of a hotel schampoo and mixed it with the leftover of a sheabutter handwash and it has been a perfectly good hand wash for me.

Next week I shall be going through all my sachets of samples that I have collected over the last few years and start using them up or put them in my wash bag that I use when I go away so that I remember to bring them with me next time that I go away.

    Have a nice weekend.

  • Right I think I will ebay som stuff...starting with the S&G lipboxes from the hatboxes which I'll never use, along with a s&g showercap (unused of course) because I have only got one head so only need one!, a s&g puff, again only need one and I find them bit too big for me anyway...and a coconut shimmer body shop body butter.

I'm pondering whether to sell my extra S&G empty hatbox and big bather box, I have seen they are selling on ebay and I don't need two of each, what do you think?

I'm sure I'll dig out other things to go, need to div into my stash and see what's in there. I'm finally going to brave putting some shoes on too :(

  • Good on you! I've sold a lip gloss too, only got £3 odd for it but it'd just sit there gathering dust otherwise.

  • phew finally caught up with the thread.

My avon order (from before!) arrived today. Three skin so soft body oil sprays Even with swimming three times a week and using it after every swim that's easily a year's worth.

I have just begun with the OCM and am liking it so far - using olive oil at the minute cos its what I had in but it is a good olive oil. Might try to pick up some of the proper stuff though. I will need to buy a few muslin cloths though - using an old facecloth at the min but I need a few alternates.

Please tell me the bodyshop offer is over, I am resisting going in but it's taking all my willpower!

At the minute using up a minature dove shower gel and the last drop in my bottle of SSS bath oil (but don't worry, 7 more where that came from) :)

    Well done everyone!

    Evening girls.
Well I've had a rotten couple of days. DD is suffering with an horrific case of tonsilitis, so instead of getting myself dolled up and heading into town to celebrate passing my exams which was the plan, I've told her we'll settle down on the couch with some dvds and ice cream. The best laid plans and all that...
She gets really tearful when she's ill so it wouldn't be fair to send her to granny's for the night.
So, before the couch-fest I'm going for a long hot soak with whatever comes to hand and then I'll crack open one of my 3 untouched BS butters. I'm no further through anything, in fact I 'inherited' 3 Mark Hill products from my pal tonight (see the thread, she's swamped! :rotfl:) and I gave my mum 3 Sanctuary minis, she loves the smell, but I don't really rate it. So, 3 in, 3 out, but not really any further forward.
I'm actually quite impressed as tonight I noticed that the tenner I took out the bank on Monday to see me through the week has only dwindled to £5.75!! I think if I hadn't been doing this challenge I would DEFINITELY have been in Boots buying the S&G offer or trying to get a skinny, turns out even when I was in getting DD's prescription for her tonsillitis I wasn't even tempted, which I normally would be if I was feeling like I'd had a bad day. Feels like progress! :)
Hope you're all well and looking forward to a great weeekend! :)

  • sorry to hear that eklynn...atleast you'll be saving the pennies at home instead of out on the lash ;)

  • Hi all

have been away for a week and haven't had time to catch up, so hope everyone is doing well. I didn't buy ANYTHING in Jan, so very pleased. :j
I Have used up about 10 items, and reckon I have about £33 in tin. I will need to buy deoderant (will try boots special offer on dove) and toothpaste soon.

Most of the stuff I have used up I wouldn't buy again, which makes me wonder why I bought it in the first place!! To be fair a lot of it was bought for me. I have just finished some Kenzo Flowers perfume, which I really loved and would buy again, and some CK1, which was nice, but I wouldn't buy again.

  • Kenzo flowers is gorgeous, I've nearly finished my bottle - I've had it as long as me and boyf have been together :S

Well done for passing your exam. You can always celebrate it another time. Enjoy the Dvd's and the ice cream tonight. Hope DD is getting better soon.
