  • afternoon everyone,

finished the daily smooth this morning after the shower, OH was laughing "are you sure you can' get another use out of it?" poor tube had been chopped several times and scraped to within an inch of it's life lol!

Next body butter out of stash is M&S shea butter, already open and 1/3 used.

I'm thinking of listing a few unopened things that I'll never use on ebay, only thinking mind you ;)
*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*
No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!

this is what I have to use up! I'm never going to get through it all!

    Blimey! well done for posting.

I don't know if you want tips for getting through it but I'd:

sort the stuff that is currently open/part used and put that in the places you will use it and use it up!

    With the unopened stuff:

    • Anything that's a recent purchase with a receipt take it back!
    • I'd go for anything made by boots and still sealed can go back to them and be exchanged for something like toothpaste, vitamins etc, something useful you will use (unless you stockpile those too!) obviously only fairly recent purchases - not something from years ago! Good way if you've overdone something like facewipes you won't use and don't want to take back with receipt ;)
    • Ebay/sell in another place anything you're unlikely to use in the next year or so and that you're not a big fan of
    • Presents is a great idea too as debidoodle suggested - I gave my SIL (to be) several soap and glory items and one of the hat boxes for Christmas (with other bits in too) as I bought one to split for presents and she loved it - actually the box was a big hit too!
Good luck with all the reducing the stash - just think of the room you'll have when that's all gone! (and no not more room for cosmetics...)

Do it - and then keep the money somewhere safe to buy more Daily smooth once you've got through the other body butters!

Can anyone tell me whether 10% off coupon is in an old copy of the Daily Mail, or in today's?

CompletelyLost, there is a printed token in your daily mail/The mail on Sunday every day until the 13th February. If you bring one token you get 5% off on cosmetics or 10% off if you bring 2 tokens with 2 different dates on it. The discount is valid until the 14th February.
No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
    Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j

Thanks Mrs-Moneypenny. I have some fantastic friends I live with but because i'm engaged people think i'm a completely different person to them, as soon as they see the ring they judge me lol!:(
    Today I used up;
a sachet of Nivea Visage Rich moisturising day cream, wiba? nope, it's still all sticky on my skin!
A deep cleansing chin & forehead pore strip by skin benefits wiba? they were okay a cheap version from asda I wouldn't mind buying them again though!
A tiny sample of cherry body butter from the body shop and a seaweed scrub from the body shop.

It is a man :T he is so nice and normal it is untrue. He is debt free and not at all materialistic like the ex husband, I don't feel I have to be "up with it" all the time. He likes me for who I am not like the ex who tried to "mold" me, almost destroying the person I was. I am so happy today I could sing, but best not I am tone deaf!

Lovely!!!!!!!!! I hope it all works out for you xoxo

I'm horrendous; I have so many (of the same) products open at the same time. I'll be halfway through something and buy a new product. I'll then leave the old one to try the new one... ad infinitum :o

    That's me as well! :o:o:o:o

It is my friend's birthday next week so I have rifled through my stash and will be givng her Urban Retreat Rendezvous body wash, body souffle & a small bottle of the EDT. I have a gold box & tissue and my friend will love it as she does not indulge in herself very often. Also I have not had the expense & temptation if I were to go to town.

Well done, getting rid of your stash AND saving money at the same time! :T

Do it! I'm new to eBaying and it is fab. As Bronnie says, seeing money fall into your account for stuff you just have lying around/won't get to use up in time is brilliant! And if it's all been bought on glitches, Grabbits and BOGOFs, chances are you will probably break even or even make a few £££s on what you paid! :T

I wandered into Boots at lunchtime too and bought... nothing! Yay!!!!!!!!! :T
