No buying toiletries in February challenge!

I've used up the l'oreal eye thingies...they were a free sample. WIBA? No. It was ok to try but thought the sponge part was pants! Ended up just squeezing it out and using my fingers...
Onto the No7 p&p one next.
I'm sure the pixies are coming into my house at night and replacing all the stuff I'm using up!!!!:hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

I've run out of body cream.
Well, not quite. In a last ditch attempt to avoid having to use them, I've got my last 5 pots of body/hand cream on ebay. Please let them sell, (50p would be fine by me!!), otherwise, my penance is to have to use them:eek:. So I have to improvise with the body lotions for for 4 more days until I see whether they sell or not.......won't be holding my breath! Have made £14.51 on toiletries on ebay today though, so that helps the money neutral part of my challenge!!
I've still got 2 x body lotions I like, but I've come to the conclusion winter's too cold for body lotion. I slathered it on my feet last night and my feet felt all cold and wet in my socks instead of warm and squidgy like they do with the thicker cream! Come the summer months the lotion's going to feel lovely and cooling.0 -

I don't even look at the toiletries anymore

So tonight I decided that I will not replace my Virgin vie eye make up remover when (if) I ever use it up. It's an oil based one and it doesn't seem to remove mascara. Baby oil works brilliantly to get rid of mascara and is a fraction of the price.
Still umming and ahing about returning the night cream. Really like the day serum though so I'm keeping that. I've already told DD that it's my Mothers day present from them!
To justify my spend, razors I needed- DH had a gillette fusion and I tried it and loved it. Mens tend to be cheaper than ladies anyway and I've not bought any for 2.5 years. When I went to put them away I found a couple of disposables and used one this evening to do my legs, pits and bits. When I was washing after, it felt like I'd forgotten to shave my R armpit. My bikini line is itchy and raw. This will be used on my legs for a few more shaves and then flung. It was a brand new razor. Figured out that that's why I keep avoiding shaving.
MiL uses the No7 cleanser and will apreciate it. She will also like the eye lip thing. So I would have spent that money on something for a gift for her- it may as well be something she likes and uses. £52 justified! I'm almost out of cotton wool. £2.20 justified. Unsure on the fusion gift sets and the No7 night cream.
I've decided that I won't return the night cream until I have finished using up the tester. That way, I will have given it a fair trial.
OK, some advice now. I work nights and get a bit confused about the swap from day to night. So, when I start my nights I'm up at 7am. I don't go to bed until 8am the following day. So do I apply day cream morning and evening and then night cream in the morning when I head to bed. Or do I put night cream on for the night and then put my face on over the top?
Or....... Do I return the s***ing night cream and just use the day serum morning and night?

Will repaint my tootsies on Friday evening, and am going for a bronze colour. Lots of coats.

Thanks so much, can't wait to get them! My hands are going to be in for some major TLC. How do you find them? :j You are so kind.
p.s. how did you find out about MSE living in the south? xo
Gloves are quite good with handcream overnight.
MSE Grabbit forum is sometimes linked from Irish forums bacause we have the exact same shops here.
I've known of MSE for ages for ages but always perceived it to be a really serious forum. I hadn't realised girly chats about cosmetics happen here. It's hard to learn your way around here too because there are loads of forums/sub-forums. So glad I've joined in though:)Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -
morning all
took me a while to find the thread because of the name change. i havent had the puter on for a couple of days.
good to see everyone is pampering hard to use up the stashes;)
havent acheved very much myself. i had to redo my nail polish last night as it looked all chpped and flaky and i managed to use up a little tub of body shop pumice foot scrub. i gave ds a little treat of a foot soak with a mini bomb in it- i was sure if they were bath bombs or foot bombs they werent very big and came in a gift set with foot lotions and potions and a foot file so assumed they were foot ones . anyhow he enjoyed it and now as lovely soft tootsies (but i wont tell his mates) i told him it would be good for his ingrown toenail.SPC~12 ot 124
