And I hope you really did write them and not cheat with 'cut and paste'. They look suspiciously all the same to me!!!!

I didn't use my Boots £5 skincare voucher, I binned it. A simple thing I know, but it's a massive deal for me. In the past I have always used them purely because it felt like I was throwing £5 away otherwise. Hence why I have a stockpile of unused skincare........ :embarasse
I did the exact same thing, but probably because they aren't as good value in Ireland. The cheapest skincare item is €4.50 with a voucher here but some No7 things are free with the vouchers so I always use the No7 ones. They feel like gift vouchers, it's difficult to not spend them!I've been good on the toiletries front. Not so good on the chocolate side though.. Ate a whole 400g box in 2 days, dayaaaam.
I saw an Easter egg I'd love in Tesco today but it's €18.99. Handmade chocolate and a lovely re-usable box. Hoping for a Tesco offer on Easter eggs:EasterBun

OMG what types of things are you selling? I'm flippin pants at selling stuff... as in I have noting to sell :rotfl: Gawd I could do with making some cash
Just editting to add... come on then spill on what you've bought... we have to know y'know lolTara - what sort of stuff have you been selling and what has it been going for? Is your total excluding p+p and ebay/paypal charges?
I've found ebay really slow this past month or so, loads of my stuff hasn't sold even at really low prices, an example - put on a Burt's Bees moisturiser worth £18 for a fiver and it never sold!! Not happy. I've made about £180 in the past 4 weeks but my ebay bill was over £30!!
Probably as I ended up relisting a good few items:eek:
Tell us your secret, please!
Hi, yes it's after fees etc, I am donating some to charity and trying to think of something worthwhile to do with the rest e.g. my mum needs a new freezer so am thinking of giving her some money towards it.I've also bought a few bits on eBay (clothes/jeweller)y with Paypal funds. PM me your eBay name and I will add you to my fave sellers!
I'm mainly selling unused (and used!) toiletries, clothes, shoes, handbags, jewellery, little pretty bits and bobs etc. I even sold a Boots comb for more than the RRP lol! (unusued might I add)I am very proud of myself today and just wanted to boast a bit as OH isn't interested in the slightest - I didn't use my Boots £5 skincare voucher, I binned it. Well done Babafette, I am very proud of you!!! :T Mags30, you're right too - they do feel almost like gift vouchers!
OK, confession time, I spent £22 on two lots of stuff from the Body Shop - the Polynesian set, plus 2x Vit E facial oils and a Vit E body butter. I tried the facial oil today and it is gorgeous!!!!!!! Quidco at 15% will bring it down to under £19. Anyway, sorry girls, I feel guilty and I shall not ever look at their website again.:o:o:o (still not as naughty as LIR though!!!!!!!!!!)

I've not bought anything at all in February and only spent just over £3 in January. I think I am making progress, I just wish that my OH would realise how difficult it is for me. The only support I get is from all you lovely ladies on this thread.
Well done. I promise I'll be good at least till the end of the month. My dh doesn't really see the pint on me cutting down on makeup...as its reasonably contained, in its own tool boxDespite todays splurge, I have been fending off offers from him of duty free goodies all month.
He gets the toiletries thing, because we just have loads and loads, everywhere (we actually have some in the crisper I'd not thought about either...) and its just stupid not to finish them off and get them out of the way and under control.
ETA: I'm feeling guilty now, really for not being steadfast to the challenge.I'm sorry ladies.

Erm, count me out too, last night I bought the polynesian body shop gift set (in fairness I did want the monoi oil and it was £9 on its own - the set was £10 with free delivery)
Today I worked in a different place to usual where they had a factory shop and bought inecto coconut shampoo and conditioner (to match the coconut body shop stuff), trevor sorbie shampoo and conditioner, aveno handwash and a pink glitter w7 nail varnish (its v fab and glittery on!) and it only cost me £10. However, I did say to myself; 'Vikki, if you buy this, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT ALLOWED TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THE BODY SHOP TONIGHT EVEN IF IT IS FREE DELIVERY AND £5 OFF A £10 SPEND! So far I haven't caved
I've had a rubbish couple of weeks at work which is my excuse - 50 hours a week, plus travel, plus cleaning, and I've been poorly :D
On a positive note, I have decided to be brave and use up the body shop set that the ex gave meIt's on the side ready

I've not been too bad- I've used vouchers for extra points etc to buy needed things like razors (then I found my stock of carp ones
but they're nearly all gone now :j) Olay cleanser x2 (cause I like it and it was cheap and I was returning some stuff
) some gifts (which are things that nearest and dearest will actually like  and came cheap/free/ other
)
Oh and boring cotton wool!
I HAVE been succesful in not spending one of the £5 vouchers. I figured that 3 + 2 1/2 bottles of Olay (albeit different flavours) may be enough. I also decided to give up for lent as you lot seem to have turned me into a bootser. (That and my no7 vouchers will still be in date then).
I think the majority of my stash came from not pampering myself enough and using my pretty stuff or from buying lots of shampoo conditioner etc to get money off (Tesco points etc).
It will be nice to clear it all. Well, I've only bought essentials and spent £8 (and if you count ebay toiletries profits I'm still £6 up and money neutral for toiletries so far!). Really though, I think I'm probably at the end of the challenge,in terms of using up my stash as I really have come to the end of lots of stuff and honestly do need to replace some items. ( I have been doing this for over a year now!)
BUT, I did spend that £5 Boots Voucher on Time Delay eyecream (cost me £1.35) and even though it's a small amount, I am annoyed with myself.
I did intend to ebay it, but it doesn't seem to sell.
I don't really bother with eyecream, but I did open it and start using it.
Worst of all, I would never have bothered using the free No7 voucher in the past, were it not for getting the idea of buying something cheap with it from this thread :eek:....so work that one out!!!
Think I'll use it up on my hands and get rid of it!0
