Well done :T
Thanks - I've always bought bits and pieces of make up in the past - some of it expensive stuff like estee lauder and lancome and then used it a bit and left it sitting around to go funny so I've bought new stuff (Boots 17 on offer, No7 with a voucher and e.l.f.) and some new brushes and I'm going to try every day to do it in the morning as it makes me feel better tooInitial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Just been reading the posts on nail varnish and thought I'd add that I've been using a No7 fast drying one which dries too fast! You have to paint it on at lightening speed or it starts drying and goes lumpy on your nails. It's very thick and gloopy too, and I only bought it a couple of months ago, so it's not that it's old.Mortgage to clear asap! - [STRIKE]£148,874.38 [/STRIKE]as at 1 May 2013£79,176.55 May 2018£59,516.06 July 2019November 2020 £35,914.620

DON'T bother. Its appaling - I used it once and binned it. The metallic base coat didn't appear to do anything and both wands are soo huge (aka mascara wands from the 90's) it's impossible to get a decent coat. I didn't see any improvement to my lashes either. Straight in the bin that went.
Yes, the mascara was from Company mag and thanks for the warning. I have one in my stash - I was dubious of using it anyway and now I don't think I'll bother.0 -
Started decluttering my bedroom and found...more soaps.:eek::eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:plus a prehistoric Cyclax body exfoliator.
I think 'no more buying toiletries' is turning into 'never need to buy soap or shower gels ever again':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::j:j:jI went away and now I'm back.:j:j0 -

(and where has the shruggy icon gone??!)
It's a cocoa butter and walnut body scrub. Makes a mess in the bath but it leaves skin really smooth.I went away and now I'm back.:j:j0 -
So far since joining I've used up a FCUK body polish, (huge jar that's lasted a year and is lovely), P&P hand cream (not great), Molton Brown body wash, and a sample size body lotion that I can't remember the name of.
Still a long way to go until I'm allowed to open the S&G goodies. I know some people are using them as a weekend treat but I'd rather have the whole lot at the end as reward for not buying anything, I think I'll stick to it more religiously that way IFKWIM?Mortgage to clear asap! - [STRIKE]£148,874.38 [/STRIKE]as at 1 May 2013£79,176.55 May 2018£59,516.06 July 2019November 2020 £35,914.620 -
aw that seems a shame, why not treat yourself now to some of it instead of teasing yourself, or alternating?*wonders when they will make dressing gowns acceptable day wear?*No new toiletries challenge - use up the stash first!NSD Jan 2/150
