I should stress that I am not in any way religious so my take on it is to not buy anything more until at least after we come back from our holidays after Easter. There - it's on the thread in black & white now so I don't have a choice! I can't think that there is anything I will need in that time so I have no excuse to slip up. :A Anyone else care to join us?
I would but I think I will start to run out of some basics during lent....I could do without perfume etc...ironically I have plenty of that...but some things I will need (e.g. spot cream)
eta: used a disposable razor yesterday...wow, I forgot how much worse they are: my legs felt prickly afterward....still, only 19 left to go of them!0 -

Will have a bath later to use up/rinse out a bottle of Waitrose essentials sea kelp. The rest filled a hand wash bottle I have in the bathroom (a huge one).
I'm using the Waitrose essentials cinnamon bakes bath creme in my downstairs/ kitchen wash bottle and its beautiful! Just looking at QVC selling 4 L'Occitane shower gels for about £40. Erm even with my bad maths you could get 40 bottles of Waitrose essentials for that price! Makes you think eh.
My major problem area at the moment is... moisturiser and eye cream. I really have too many of each. Must keep remembering to slather lots of moisturiser around my neck. Still have lots of foundations too. Trying to save the more powdery type ones for summer when its hot (hopefully).
Right, catch you all later. Enjoy your pampering everyone. :A
if you like L'occitainne then sign up to their website as they send you money off and freebie coupons, have had some good gifts (great for presssies so we don't add to the stash!!!!!)
Also Clarins,if you buy the full price stuff(as oppossed to the things that have been around a bit and cheaper on most online beauty sites)sign up to Clarins, they often have free delivery over a certain amount and free samples and gifts.I bought an eye pencil with free delivery which came beautifully wrapped in a large box with a free cream,2 samples and a bag wihich is great to put shoes in a case when travelling:j0 -
I can't keep up lol! I have about 3 days' worth to read.
Used up this morning: Clinique Superdefense day cream 15ml. I think I got it as part of a Bonus Time gift ages ago and only started using it as part of this challenge -think I thought of it as an ornament before!Based on RRP it's worth about £10 so will transfer that to my savings pot. WIBA: Yes, I absolutely love it and am sad to see it finished.

Last night had a lovely bath with my last sample of Jo Woods bath oil.
Used up a mint foot cream, now onto Burt's Bees coconut which is quite greasy so needs to be worn with socks will use this by night and S & G heel genius by day.

I've got rid of a couple more bits of make-up as well. The (chain mail bag freebie) No 7 nail polish, a naff lavender handcream set and a No17 eye shadow sold this weekend. Just a few quid profit but it all adds up and I always look at the bottom line and since I'm £115 up in a fortnight on stuff that was basically just clutter I'm happy!0 -
Hello!
Had a pamper session yesterday as OH is away. Used up two bottles and gave 1 tub away to a visiting aunt. Fantastic! I'm now using a soap and glory face wash, clean mary. I'm not too sure about it but I'll perserve.
Bottles I finished was clean and clear face wash. WIBA: No I don't think so. It's didn't seem to make a big difference to my face. It does last a long time.
Sienna night cream. WIBA: No, as I think I need a lighter cream due to my oily skin.Mortgage Free by 40 Challenge #190 -
Bronnie and debidoodle, congrats on the eBay success! I have 7 items to post today, think my eBaying is going rather too well!!! :rotfl: 6 items didn't sell yesterday, I was almost relieved! Think I'm going to be getting to know the post office people very well lol. I must update my sig when I total up my income vs. costs (I owe eBay £18 in fees for the month, boo!).
Most of my sales have been toiletries so far, which is great. The stash is slowly going down! I have a perfume ending this evening with 20 watchers and 7 bids so far!
I have to go to Boots, much resist the S&G offer. Now that I have my huuuge sugar scrub I have no excuse!
Almost forgot to tell you - I started a new Sanctuary Body Butter last night - it is fab!!! It's a 150ml pot so should keep me going for a while.
wkdhoney, I'm not sure about Clean Mary either, it doesn't really seem to exfoliate! Or maybe it's too subtle for me...Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

I only started last year, tend to do it in binges, but well worth it. Despite the cautionary tales, I haven't had any problems or difficult customers, although I am well aware now, thanks to MSE and try to cover myself!
The only 2 issues I had, both occurred when I mailed overseas and mistakenly tried to keep the postage costs down by posting surface mail. Both items did arrive eventually, but personally, I won't post overseas now as I'm not too desperate to sell and just want to keep life simple!0 -
I am also using the Clean mary and never realised that it was supposed to exfoliate, I don't dislike it unsure if I would buy again.
My recent Ebay sales have bought me a new kitchen sink, this week's hopefully will now buy me the taps & silver electrical sockets & light switches.
I personally do not post to Italy, major problems regading their postal system and the parcels do not get delivered.0
