No to both, tho I love the brand and some of the ranges I don't like body lotion (prefer butter but sadly only have 1 BS one but lots of different lotions free with goody bag types)the grape stuff had no effect at all.

I had my hair cut just over a week ago and you would not think I had, this one just tipped it (not my normal hairdresser) as she was on holiday I would have cancelled if I had known. I pay £17.00 for a wash, head massage, cut & blow dry and they use Tigi products; it is only a small salon and the owner does my hair fab.

Good offer with the Clarins, will be hard to resist :D

You poor thing Rosemary! I hope it grows back soon :( I used to have to go to a horrid hairdresser, they were a right bunch of !!!!!es! Now I've found a lovely guy up theroad from me who does a wash, cut and blow dry for £20 and is great, I'mm so thankful!

Used up a soft and gentle deodrant today, probably would buy it again as it smelt nice.

Off to help a friend get some bits for a Mad Hatter costume now so will probably spend the afternoon sewing for him!

  • Is there anything that can be bought for bang on £5 or cheaper? if so I'd like one if they haven't already gone x

I've no idea, I'm avoiding Boots but if you PM me your address I'll send you one. No one else has asked, they're being good it seems.

I have recently used a Nivea Cashmere Moments Handwash - WIBA: Yes, it smelt gorgeous! And a mini Lush sugar scrub - WIBA: Yes, I really liked it, although it depends how much it is. And I won't need to buy one for ages cause I have tons of scrubs!

Where is the Boots clearance store? It sounds amazing! :D

I got the S&G long handled brush for Christmas and don't get on with it very well. The handle slips out your hand when you're hands are wet and soapy!

    Phew just caught up!

my hands are really dry today and then I remembered I've been really bad with my gloves and moisturiser this week - must do that tonight!

Well done on everyones ebay sales - hope you put the money to good use :A

With regards to boots points (not that I want to be encouraging you shopping) but they do a good cartridge recycling scheme. I got a big box of cartridges from someone at work, split them between Tescos (who have a 30 a year limit or something) Boots and a charity. I ended up getting enough points the first time for one of my hatboxes at Christmas and then just after Christmas had another £20 worth of points added (it's 100 points a cartridge and they give a little bit of money to charity too). So if you want to boost your points check it out.

It's been a week since I've posted here, but I promise I've not dropped off the wagon. I'll never catch up with all these posts though!

Who mentioned buying loads of loo rolls? I once took advantage of a Costco offer that saw us with so many packs of loo rolls that hubby built a chair out of them in the bathroom :rotfl:

Re the S&G wipes, I wasn't over fussed on them, they seemed a little drying for me. Bit disappointing and I wouldn't buy them again, even on offer.

I've been using lots of small items up in the last week. I had a small bottle of Narciso Rodriguez body lotion which I used up. WIBA? Absolutely. I'm not a fan of body lotions as I find them too thin, but this was lovely and sunk in really quickly. Smells strong enough not to need perfume either.

Also finished off a small Liz Earle hand cream. WIBA? Yes. I'm not a fan of the facial skincare but I do like the bodycare stuff, and this was lovely, not in the slightest bit greasy but quite rich ad rehydrating.

Also used up some small Origins skincare trial sizes (been using them at night) - Perfect World and Dr Weil. Don't think I like them enough to replace my current skincare range (Avene) although I do love Never Say Dry.

I'm still using the Avene skincare, but I'm now halfway down the toner. I've switched moisturisers, as I need a slightly richer one with the cold weather and I'm now using Imedeen Expression Line Control (free from a trial) which is lovely but far too expensive for my budget

Painted my toenails with the freebie OPI polish I got a while back. Wish I'd just ebayed it! Lovely colour but chipped really quickly - I think I'd maanaged to chip it even before I got the top back on!

I collect loo rolls although I do not have a chair in my bathroom :p, I hide my many packets and I think we have about 120 + rolls in the loft.

re the OPI nail varnish I always thought that they were really strong & hard wearing, just goes to show I listen to all the hype on QVC.

I am shocked and this is a 1st, hubby has been to the Perfume shop and bought me the Angel perfume & shower gel that is on offer for £8.99.

I bought the Glamour mag yesterday for DD and he obviously overheard me talking to her about it. The offer was for the refillable perfume 8ml and receive a free shower gel 200ml all in a black organza bag, I was gushing at what a bargain this was :D

He said call it a valentine's present , he has never bought me a valentine's gift in 27 years, thinks it's over rated & hyped up rubbish; romantic my husband is not :p
  • I've recycled old phones for Boots points too. Better than having them in a drawer somewhere.
