HELP!! Asda self scan

Are all Asda's getting self scan checkouts? I never pick the right sales assistant and my tesco's don't take the coupons and Waitrose is a bit expensive! So im stuck with a lot of coupons and nowhere to take them!! Help me please!

Any information would be appreciated. You could just post your store and if it has them or not, that would be helpful!

Some of the Asdas are setting these up, I think Asda in Robroyston, Glasgow has got one, so the rest have got to be following if we've got one up here....normally the last to get things in Sunny Glasgow. Try phoning your local store and asking about it?xxxxx

My local one in Stockport has them and I visited Trafford Centre last week and they had them too. Not tried scanning any coupons though, the SA was far too eager to help when I wasn't asking for it :rolleyes:

We have recently had them installed in Swansea. Not sure if they're all the same but we can only use them with hand baskets, not trolleys.

The big Asda at Eastlands in manchester has them - for baskets or trolleys.

I was in the Asda in Clayton Green yesterday and they had 4

Within the last two or three weeks they have introduced one at ASDA Oadby near Leicester, so maybe they are rolling them out everywhere as this is not a particularly large ASDA as ASDAs go (though plenty big enough to traipse round once a week)

IN GLASGOW
Toryglen, govan, the forge, the phoenix centre and clydebank all have self scan, where they have them they always have 4, it varies between store if you can use only basket, or small trolLey (non of them let your through with a normal full sized trolley.
I tend to use one or two of my big vouchers (£1.5/£2) and if the assistant starts eyeing me I stop there, sometimes they don't care and i put through a few, make sure you can always been seen putting the voucher in the slot thought, anything to avoid spoiling it / taking advantage for anyone else.

Same here in Oldham. They have a max no of items = 15
