PS. To be totally honest, if you get a 24 month contract with orange you can upgrade from the 21st month. And in 21 months the Bold9700 will still be a pretty capable phone if you ask me. It's their flagship device at the mo. The Bold 9000 was anounced in MAY 2008 and released shortly after. It's still a pretty good and expensive phone - 20 months later!!.. and there's only one phone from blackberry thats an improvement on it.. so in November 2011 the bold9700 will still be a respectable phone; there'll be a newer version with HSDPA or something but nothing else will really change imo.
  • Thanks for the advice. Im going on hol next week but will be getting something sorted as soon as i come back.

    Thanks again.

nope i just rang them up and said i wanna move networks from 02 to orange as reception is better but only if give a good deal and i only want to pay 25 pounds and only 18 month contracts. they first offered 25ppm with first month free and free 9700 with about 300 mins and 300 texts and internet but then i said i wanted more minutes. so they said you cant have 1st month free but you can have 600 mins 500 texts and unlim bb net for 25ppm 18 month contract and a free phone. i;m a totally new customer and closed my 02 contract because they offered me rubbish deals. but orange did say that they could offer me deals because when i rang it was the end of the month and so could offer better deals...
  • Im the other way round, ive just left orange for o2 as the signal was terrible. Bold is much better than Curve, ive had a play with both Bold is the way forward!!

    hi guy,
if you don't mind cashback deals.....i am mobiles.co.uk customer since many years and never missed any paypayments from them. they are very reliable. my orange contract is up on 17/02/10 got my number changed to 3 (they topped up my account with £10 for bringing my num to them) PAYG. this weekend i am going to ask 3 for PAC and going to order my new 9700bold from Mobiles.co.uk on Orange again and then going to port my old number from 3 to Orange. Well i understand you all know this so here is the deal (although its clearance but they always sent brand new phones to me in yesteryears). Right:

got to this website from best offers choose clearance then BBold....
here choose the deal no 2 with 12 months 1/2 price line rental...then choose 12 month 1/2 price option as free gift and then on next page you will get the summary of your order which is going to be as:

    900 mins Any
Network Anytime + 500 Texts + Unlimited Data Usage
and it will come to £12.50 per month for 24 months on Orange.
please beware its clearance deal and if you go through Quidco you will get £40 (quidco cashback). i, myself is very comfortable buying from them as their cashback system is very simple i.e you dont have to send bills etc. instead if you have online mobile billing then you can download and send relevant bill as an attachment to them. rest they keep you well informed about it at all stages you get your cheque within 28 days. in addition to that if you miss to send bill with in time period then unlike other webs you will only miss that stage's cashback but will still b eligible for next payments.
Please if you don't like anything in my post you are most welcome to comment but don't use rude words/language as it spoils the whole idea of helping each other. thanx for reading and i hope somebody somewhere is going to benefit from this post. thanks once again for your time and any suggestions are most welcome.
