Well that would be extremely unpleasant but it wouldn't kill anyone. I don't see the religious grounds as being any more or less valid than vegetarianism by the way - some people object to eating meat on moral grounds, for example.

However, you do have to say that in that light they are unsuitable for anyone with a food allergy. On the other hand if you dig deep enough, would you end up finding mistakes like this being made everywhere?

i dont eat meat as have a serious meat allergy - i have had anaphalaxis due to being given medication, while under aneasetic, that contained porcine products - even though i had explained my problem to both the surgeon and the aneathisist and the drug they administered was the actual example i gave as a product i was allergic to!!
so yes it could kill me!!

If you had read the entirety of RM's post, they go on to mention food allergies as being a more important case.

I agree with others that serving this to a veggie or a religious person wouldn't kill them, but food allergies are different. I don't think one can ever be completely certain about being allergy-free, you would think that some things are less risky than others.

Because all the British people on minimum wage always give world class service?

Not always. They tend to speak English though, which helps.

I actually find many foreign staff to give excellent service, particularly I have to say, eastern European employees.

What a good job I counted your problem as the more serious issue in my reply then. Perhaps you should read a reply through to the end before griping about part of it that you've taken out of context?
