My daughter has just called me to say that the purchase of her new(old) house is progressing nicely and she has had a quote for central heating to be fitted. The plumber has said he will fit a boiler,5 rads and fit out the bathroom for £6ooo. She will supply the bathroom suite, he will fit it.

Seems a bit steep, although I could be wrong, any comments welcomed.

What is meant by 'fit out the bathroom'?

My daughter will buy the bathroom suite and the plumber will install it.

The plumber is known to my daughters friend and I fear she will give him the job without getting any other quotes.

yes seems expensive to me too, but then we don't know what boiler he is fitting or what work he is doing in the bathroom

I think you mean a magnetic cleaner?
That price is suspiciously cheap. Is it from a proper GSR RGI?
