    ta for helping me - i was going to paste the image in paint then upload it via tinypic but i cannot get the image to paste within paint.
    If you have no joy with Ctrl+PrntScrn have you tried the new Windows 7 Snipping tool?

    Yeah its pretty good so is the PSR (problem steps recorder) but until someone explains how to post screen prints via an intermediary site(and recommends some) its less intuitive to our firsttimer

    thanks for the help but where do i find the snipping tool?
    Click the Start button. If its not visible straight away click on Programs > Accessories and its in there

    For stuff like screen prints, i.e. stuff you don't need to keep permanently, use tinypic
    For stuff you want to keep use Photobucket

    Both sites allow you to upload images to their servers and they then provide a pasteable link to that image. Then just paste the link between img tags as below (remove spaces)
