hmm you can only pin links to the IE jump launch menu.
just drag a link from favorites onto the taskbar and it will then appear in the menu.
If you use anything else you're probably out of luck0 -
thanks for replying
windows 7 is all new to me 1st time using it today i'll have to see how / where pinned items are as i can't see "pinned" on the desktop0 -
You can add your favourites folder as a new toolbar rather than pinning it to a jumplist if you prefer -

I would also suggest trying Mozilla Firefox as a browser too, with the Noscript add-on. If you look at the taskbar you will see an icon for your browser IE , right click on that icon and select pin to taskbar. Similary if you go in to the start menu and right click on a program from there you have an option to pin to the taskbar.
Then when you restart your lappy these programs will be on the taskbar and you can start them from there. Similarly if you right on the click on the taskbar icon you can unpin it again so it disappears again. Hope thats clear4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . To pin MSE onto the taskbar you need it in your bookmarks first then left click it in there and drag to the taskbar4.8kWp 12x400W Longhi 9.6 kWh battery Giv-hy 5.0 Inverter, WSW facing Essex . Aint no sunshine ☀️ Octopus gas fixed dec 24 @ 5.74 tracker again+ Octopus Intelligent Flux leccy0 -
