getting a macbook

I have spoken to the guys on Sales, they say they will have a similar offer on starting in August. He was unable to give a specific date. So it is worth waiting!

Do you think that these offers will apply to the NUS apple store aswell?

I was looking through my old emails and last years offer was buy a mac and an iPod and get £100 back via a mail in rebate.

Just to second the comment below; when I rang Apple a couple of weeks ago I was told "hopefully early to mid August" for the iPod offer as well. Worth waiting

Just off the phone with an Apple salesman, he said the annual offer will run from tomorrow. 1/8/06


A free 2Gb ipod nano with macbooks (i'd asume macbook pro too)

also be offers with a printer and microsoft office (wasn't really interested..)

should be on website from tomorrow

When I rung the brent cross store, they were pretty useless - all I managed to find out was that they do ram upgrades in store. the lady didn't understand me when I asked about a promo like the one in the US. Also, she told me students only get a 8% discount compared to the 14% discount on the NUS website...

there we are, a £100 mail in rebate when buying an ipod with any macbook etc.

has anyone seen whether they can order this on the phone?
