I was 7 and my sister was 4 when we were present at the home birth of my brother ... It's one of my best memories ... it was 7:30am on a school day and I remember going to school and not telling anybody all day as it didn't seem real ... I do remember my little sis getting a bit upset about Mummy being in pain just BEFORE he was actually born, and leaving the room, but she was there when he actually arrived ... by the way ... baby bro is now nearly 21, and 6'4" with size 12 feet

Been away and am thrilled to come back and find out the news! CONGRATUALTIONS! Really pleased you had a good birth. I too wanted a home birth but had decreased fluids so ended up in hospital...I think you should go for a third, just because it'd be lovely to have 3 girls or a boy. Be warned though - my frst girl was 8lbs 7oz, but then my boy (second) was 9lbs 12oz and only 11 days over!! Mind you, had no problems!!lol!!

Belated congratulations and bright blessings - I have been a listener rather than a talker on this thread, but know from personal experience the level of courage it takes to defy conventional medical opinion in the world of obstetrics.
Well done, and many, many congratulations. I hope she brings you so much joy.
