Congratulations Jo - what is she called?"Harry, I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee."0

you've done absolutely brilliantly, Jo_R!
So glad you got the active birth you wanted. In your original post you were talking about "possibilities" rather than certainties and it was obvious you'd make the best decision based on all the facts on the day.
All your determination, strength, and openness are qualities that you'll be using often, as Little_R grows up.
I bet she's gorgeous!
Big hugs to all the family :T"By not unsettling men, you will reassure them. By unsettling men either through timidity or malice, you are always compelled to keep a knife in hand." - Niccolo Machiavelli, 1469-15270 -
