Vodafone PAYG Freedom Packs
Hey does anyone know how these freedom packs work?
"With our January sale offer, Freedom Packs double your minutes until 12 February. So you can turn a £10 TopUp into 200 minutes and 300 texts. Want even more? A £15 TopUp gets you 400 minutes and 600 texts. And for £20, you get a whopping 600 minutes, plus 3000 texts."
Seems the best PAYG deal Ive ever seen??

Seems that when you top up, your credit is converted into mins and texts depending on the top up amount.0

Hi,
I've used their Freedom pack for the past few months, and haven't run into any problems. You can buy the pack using your registered debit/credit card, or buy it using your calling credit.
I usually top up £15 per month and get that mentioned 400 mins and 600 texts. The only trick with this is that if you run out of mins/texts, you can't buy another pack within 30 days. But even so, you won't be paying any more than you do now.
Wow, I sound like a Vodafone advertAnyways, I've been really happy, it's great value for money and I haven't yet run into any "small print" issues. Hope this helps!

Ah I knew there was a catch, using your debit or credit card! I thought you could get the opack by simply using your top up swipe card.0

You can buy it using your calling credit that you already got on your phone. So if you'd like to buy for example the £10 freedom pack, just top up £10, phone 2345 and buy the pack0

Nope, if you top up £10 and use that to buy your £10 freedom pack, that's your 200 minutes and 300 texts sorted for a month. If you run out, you'll need to top up again and calls and texts will cost the same as now.0

yes i agree they are doing well but the only problem is vodafone is lagging behind on the pay as you go data front, ecspecially when everyone else is coming up with good data deals.0
