Just read the forum back, about OU, they change now the terms and conditions with tesco vouchers, from may this year you can only use them for level 1 course-it sacks as i was counting on it. I've az OUSBA account and pay monthly for my course, I wouldn't be able to pay £600 straight away. I pay about £10 interest on a 7 months course which I think is ok.

The funding is crap, I'm above the minimum amount I should earn to qualify but at the end of the month I'm worst off after paying rent, council tax, bills, etc than for example one of my friends who lives on housing benefit, council tax benefit, working tax credit, child tax credit and so on. The system is def. not fair.

Anyone working for council, do you know anything about book grant? Some of the OU students got like £50 towards buying books and was wondering how it works.
    ---

I sold 2 items on ebay, a profit of £10.50 for this month challenge.

£65 Quidco received in my account this morning and £3.50 saved on a bunch of flowers for my mum with an M&S 10% off code (she's just had a hip replacement).

Doing well this month so far but will have to find some things to sell/ebay otherwise I won't hit my target !

sweetpeas I think you go online, and "cash-in" your clubcard vouchers for OU vouchers, (or holiday vouchers etc) but then you can't change from holiday to OU if you get me? You are in the best position at the moment I think
  • can I ask a question?

if i make 50 a day on one poll can i add thar to my balance daily or do i have to wait til i reach the £40 mark and cash it in???

I think you can do it however you like, I would personally just add the £40 when I get my hands on it but each to their own, there are no strict rules so to speak
  • thanks! still debating how to do it! lol

sweetpeas, go to the tesco threads on MSE and ask about OU vouchers. There was some discussion about it a while ago, but ask now as someone may have upto date advice for you.

I tend to stick to adding money as it reaches my bank account/paypal account/recieve the vouchers, makes sure I dont count things twice.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
