I'm still not doing well! Although I have just worked out my uni book claim - £122.12!!! I bought the books before Christams but haven't claimed yet - In uni today so will complete claim although I doubt it will come through this month! I have £30 tracking through Quidco but not in my account to withdraw yet - need to find something else to do to make money! any suggestions?

Just checked my bank - Naked wines have taken £20 x 2 out of my account - I had wine vouchers over Christmas but managed to sign up for 2 wine plans that take money each month then build it up in a wine account - cancelled both accounts and reclaimed the £40 - does this count?
  • Hello All,

Re-negotiated direct debit with BT, managed to save £27 per month. Also cut milk down from pint a day to four a week, £6 saved per month. Also got a cheque in the post for £24 for sale of old mobile phone. Good day for extra money!
I am able to re-negotiate all my bills as the last of my kids moved out three months ago and all the bills have dropped considerably. This challenge has spurred me on to sorting them out.

Sending off 7 DVDs today to music magpie for a healthy return of £12.04. More than I'd get at the car boot or ebay for them! There'll be a fair few more being sent off & ebayed once I've finished my DVD watching marathon :)

    Evening all :hello:

I've got no update today, but wanted to come on and say HI and hugs to Jesa.

We have both got a 0% on balance transfers credit card each this week and have put quite a fair bit of debt onto them. It's for 12months but the int rate after that is also alot lower than we were already paying. So I'm very hopeful that in the next year or so our total debt will come down considerably :) yippee.. finally, a light at the end of the tunnel. We have an awful lot of debt and this isn't really a drop in the ocean in the grand scheme.. but it's the start and a huge step for us so I'm really pleased.

    xx
