Just before Xmas I sold some toy trains that used to belong to DS on Ebay. Just as I was sending them out I noticed there was more damage on some of them than I'd described so I refunded the buyers and sent the trains anyway as a gesture of good will. I've just received a cheque from one of the buyers because he managed to get the train working - how nice is that - he really didn't have to do that. That's £12.15 to add but that feels like a bonus compared to the lovely heart-warming feeling its given me.... :T.

& I found another penny in the street...

Well done MrsHalffull, and how lovely of the buyer to send you the money! Just shows you there are still nice people in this world.

  • Hi,

Another good day. £118.38 from British Gas paid into bank account today, my account was in credit. Another £15.00 per month saved on the electric (I had over estimated my usage). Triple Netar points at Sainsburys (300) so about £1.25.
